If your trying to keep to portion control in your eating this place is not for you! The amount and quality were LARGE and outstanding!! I make a mean Brussels Sprouts myself but the ones at Postero were O-U-T O-F T-H-I-S W-O-R-L-D!! The Broccoli Cheddar soup was divine. And I can't remember having a better Shrimp Scampi. Again my only "problem" was the size of the portions and the quality. We were already planning on what to order out next time there! I only wish I could give more stars, but was limited on this app.

As always, a wonderful meal, Postero never disappoints. They are consistently outstanding in choices and service. I had the steak option which was the short rib and husband had the cornmeal crusted trout. I have to go back soon for the duck confit pot pie before it leaves the menu!

We were early for our reservation but they seated us right away. If you don't have a reservation, you should get there early to grab a spot at the small bar or at the high top tables. Our server, Elizabeth, was great. She was attentive throughout our meal, made sure we had everything we needed and never rushed us. The oysters and our main courses were delicious but we've never had a bad meal at Postero so this should go without saying.

Whipped brie beet dish was phenomenal as well as NOLA shrimp. Dark Chocolate Pot de Creme was outstanding. Service was exceptional. Building is unique in an old bank. Open kitchen is interesting. A little chilly upstairs. Overall, a wonderful experience. Will be back.

Service was excellent and we loved our drinks and the shrimp appetizer. We were very disappointed with the short rib however. It's more than half in edible fat. We pointed it out to our server who promptly told the Chef. Chef could have cared less and acted like our concern was unwarranted. Doubt we would go back. Just because of his attitude. I understand there are sometimes bad cuts of meat, but when you can't 50% of the meal, that at least deserves an apology.

We had reservations for my wifes birthday, we were greeted at the check in desk with a Happy Birthday! That started off the evening nice , we were seated immediately given time to scan the menus and then greeted by our server Elizabeth. She was extremely professional and personable and very knowledgeable about all aspects if the menus, including cocktails. We ordered our cocktails and they arrived timely and the presentation was outstanding not only tasty but beautiful. We ordered our salads and dinners at the same time and the timing of the salads and dinners was spot on. Well done by the kitchen staff and servers. Our salads arrived and were very fresh, and once again a great presentation. The summer salad with the berries was outstanding, so refreshing on a scorching hot day. Our dinners arrived soon after finishing up the salads and wow was it a great dinner , the hanger steak was so unbelievably tender , flavorful and cooked to perfection. One of our guests ordered the roast pork and he was raving about it. The filet was nicely seasoned super tender and cooked absolutely perfect. Once again well done kitchen staff. Our server Elizabeth was absolutely outstanding in every way you can tell she has heen trained well and does a magnificent job for us rhe entire evening. She is an asset to Postero. Overall we could not have asked for a more perfect night for a birthday celebration, amazing food, cocktails, desserts and impeccable service. To end the night Elizabeth brought my wife a birthday card signed by the staff! So thoughtful, this is the way a restaurant should be run. Well done to ALL staff and management for a great birthday she will never forget. Cant wait to come back!!

After living in major cities with high quality dining for the vast majority of time we moved to the area 11 years ago and after dining many times at other locations within a 50 miles radius we find Posteros to be the absolute best of all. Hendersonville, Asheville and Greenville areas have other choices but none really compare to Posteros. The Terrace at Omni Grove Park Inn is awesome and may seriously be the only closest option.
The food was tasty, attractively presented, and the serving sizes were not overwhelming. The emphasis is on quality, not quantity. Our server was excellent, not intrusive but there when needed. The only negative is the high noise level.

The cuisine was outstanding. My only concern was that the specific instructions I provided with my reservation, requesting a cake to commemorate our 35th anniversary, were not acknowledged, as we were instead offered dessert after dinner.
