I felt as if the Lady taking my order was dismissive to me. She asked me what my order would be as she was on the phone with a call in. I stated I wanted the special and apparently the person on the phone wanted the special as well. When I repeated my order, the lady then stated there wasn’t anymore. She then did not ask me what else I wanted, she then looked at my friend and took her order. I have lived in Morganton for majority of my life and this is the first time I actually experience true racism with a smile, because the Lady was very smiley. I will not return to this eating establishment again and those that respect people of color will not eat there as well.

Chicken salad crossaint was amazing as well as the broccolli salad...I had the spaghetti special last week and it was great too...definitely recommend!

Had their chicken pie today. Was wonderful. And the banana pudding was amazing. Great place to get home cooked meals. Will definitely be back.

I had the chicken dumplings on Friday and they were really good. I recommend you try them. I can’t wait to try some other foods here!
