Order #185 May 21st 8:15pm Server host T? After waiting at the host counter for 10 min...in which case just needed to call out a waitress after 5 walked by. Ordered take out Was given the wrong burger and the wrong side. Did not receive honey mustard either. It's a Thursday at 8pm. It was fairly dead. Should have just went to blue42. I'd call for a refund, but it's just not worth the hassle.

This is my first visit and unfortunately it’s not a good experience. I ordered a JD Burger and it came burnt. Waited for the waitress til to the point it was useless to ask for a replacement. The waitress, Ejam J charged me for the burger even I explained to her that it was burnt and she acknowledged it. Asked me if I wanted a replacement. I told her no.

Found this place by accident, and so glad we did! Nice place overlooking the Catawba river. Lauren was the sweetest server and we asked what her favorite item on the menu was. She said the Reuben, and usually that's my go-to, so I ordered that. I was not disappointed! One of the best I've had. The seeded rye bread was delicious. The corned beef was very tender, and the sauerkraut was tasty. My husband had the Phillie Steak sandwich and throughlt it was excellent. We also ordered the French Onion Soup and I'm not usually a fan. I have to say, it was the best French Onion soup I've ever tasted!! We actually dipped our sandwiches in the broth and it it took them to another level!! Can't wait to return and enjoy another meal here.

I was really disappointed with my experience at Town Tavern in Morganton. The atmosphere was dull, and the service was painfully slow—I had to wait a full 55 minutes just for my food. When it finally arrived, it was just ok, bland, and not worth the wait. My server was also very rude and impersonal, which made the whole visit even worse. Ever since the reopening, the service just hasn’t been up to par. I’ve really tried to like this place, but I’ve been disappointed time and time again. I won’t be returning.
The appitizer came out very fast . It was really good. I ordered a bacon cheese burger which was awesome butt the fries taste like they were made the day B4. And we're cold ! And I had a tequilia sunrise... Very good butt very pricy... Too many TV 's too ! Very distracting.

DON'T ORDER THE PUB CHIPS. My friend and I ate there tonight . We both had a sandwich that came with a side, we both ordered pub chips as our side. After paying the bill I realized it was higher than I expected so I asked to see my receipt. I was billed 2.95 twice for each pub chips, I asked why we were charged that when both entrees came with a side. My server told me that there was a 2.95 up charge when you order pub chips. However the menu doesn't reflect that. The food was good and I enjoyed the experience up until I was charged an extra 6 dollars for no reason. It's the principle not the money.
