After reading some of the reviews yesterday, I was a little skeptical about trying this place. My friend and her boyfriend have been a handful of times, with nothing but good things to say- so my boyfriend and I decided to give it a try yesterday evening! Our first impression- the place was nice and spacious- right on the water. The parking lot wasn’t crazy full, so we came at the right time on a Monday evening. The place was clean, and the staff were very friendly from the time we walked in the door. Our server’s name was Haven (I think-whoopsie…I lost my receipt with her name) she was super sweet and attentive, she made sure we got everything we needed, and checked on us from time to time to see if we were satisfied. My boyfriend and I got the spicy mac and cheese bites as an appetizer (SOOOO GOOD)- then we both couldn’t decide if we wanted wings or a burger, so we got one order of each and split it all. The jalapeño queso burger was a good choice! Wings were flavored with dry rub and we got a few sauces on the side to sample. For dessert I got the brownie with ice cream- good portion, not too much, but a good size for two (even though my boyfriend didn’t want any so I got to have it all to myself) We will definitely be going back in the near future! I’m so glad we gave this place a try! Great atmosphere!

As noted in another recent review, the manager was TOO BUSY to come out to talk to me. The hostess wouldn't even get a card to me where I could call and ask for someone specifically later. My wife and I sat quietly for 30 minutes with not a word from our waitress after she dropped off our drinks and the menus. I walked around to find her and ultimately flagged her down. She then said they told her she just told she was not allowed to put in anymore orders! After we sat at the table for 30 minutes already? They are just now telling you not to take any orders?
Here are a couple of tips for you. Replace the manager who was working on Saturday evening 9/14 if they are too busy to talk to customers, since being in the service industry requires that. Also, don't seat your customers without telling them that you aren't going to be able to take their order because the kitchen is too busy. Finally, your wait staff shouldn't avoid the tables. Just come out and tell us how it is, and we would have walked out and went somewhere else without wasting more of our time.
The most disappointing part was that this was a return visit after coming to enjoy live music last weekend. My wife found this place, and we enjoyed that evening, even if the service was a bit slow.
I've never written a google review, but in 46 years around the sun, this was by far the worst customer service I've received in a restaurant, so I thought I would put my 2 cents in here, since you didn't care enough to even come explain the situation.
Thanks for telling me I didn't have to pay my sweet tea after sitting there for 30 minutes. I offered to pay for it, but I guess I'm thankful I didn't have to wait another half hour for the check for a sweet tea. smh

No mushrooms on mushroom Swiss burger, waitress says that's the way it's made. Not asked for refill or another drink. Had to chase waitress down to get service. Poor service, was very disappointed. We will not recommend this place nor will we go back.

Worst experiences ever. We waited 15 minutes after being seated before waitress came took our order 1 drink came waited and finally asked for the other when appetizers came. Order was wrong when we finally got it. Waitress said that's the way it is made. Will never go back. Poor example of eating establishment. Would not waste my time.

Great place to watch a game or just have a meal. Clean and nice setting right on the river. I have been a little disappointed lately. Some of the dishes I liked aren't as good. The fish for instance. It was think and flakey but the last 2 or 3 times it's been thin a greasy. The staff is still cool and I like that they'll go out of their way to get you in front of a TV with your team. If there is a drink that the ladies like and it's not on the menu, the bartender will try their hardest to make something comparable.
Parking: Huge parking lot. I've never had a problem parking.
Wheelchair accessibility: It's a straight shot. They do have a lower level but the have plenty of tables on the main level. It may not hurt to call ahead if you or someone in your party can't do stairs. I'm sure they would accommodate your needs.

I ordered the meatball sub it was 10 maybe 12 inch sub.. 4 regulator size meat balls for the hole sub about half a jar of spaghetti sauce and maybe two slices of cheese it was so soggy i have to eat it with a fork..only two meat balls per half it cMe with fries which was ok cool when they came but ok.. it was Bout 13 dollars.. the one in my group ordered chicken parmesan it was full of meat and it could be picked up and ate like a hero should.. others in the group ordered different things.. they all looked good.. loaded fries .. ruben sandwich and other stuff my meat all sub was disappointing...

Had a wonderful time! We sat by the widows that overlook the Catabaw river. Our waitress was great! Not being from the area we asked what river it was and told us with no attitude. Highly recommend the cheese cake!!
