“I have lived in Morrisville for several years and kept riding by this cute shop. I finally stopped in last week and WOW!!!!I got four desserts for $16 which is a great deal! I tried the German chocolate and Reese's cupcakes, the lemon poundcake and a chocolate brownie. Every item was delicious!!They specialize in cupcakes but do yourself a favor and get the lemon poundcake. It was the best cake I've probably ever eaten!I plan to go back today for more. My weight loss journey will just have to include cupcakes and cake and brownies because I am hooked!Also, the owner is super, super sweet. I don't know who taught her how to bake but she is about to become my new best friend.“

“In a search for an amazing cheesecake for my boss - I found Royal Cheesecake. What a gem! Not only do I love that they are a small business but the cheesecake was amazing. We ordered a gluten-free crust and I have to say was delicious and even better than a traditional crust. Will absolutely be coming back.“

“If you want a custom cake that is perfect in appearance and in taste then you found your spot. Lyla Jones Cake Studio did an excellent job on my custom cake it was the center piece of party. All the fine details and the colors were perfect. I truly believe no one could have done any better. The characters were all hand made to the exact specifications that were asked. Not only that but after everybody had there share piece of the cake the characters were able to be kept and stored for a memory that will last a life time. I dont see myself getting a cake from anywhere else other than Lyla Jones Cake Studio. 10 out of 10“

“Cute place for excellent ice cream. I had the old fashioned chocolate in a cone and my boyfriend had “Superman” in a cup. I can’t wait to try the different flavored cones on my next visit.Parking: Located in a food lion shopping center with plenty of parking“

“I'm particular about red velvet cake, and theirs is awesome!! Moist and the frosting is good too! I'm usually a cupcake person, so I've tried all flavors over the years. Other than the parking being tight sometimes, this is my recommended cake spot in the area.“

“Icecream is delicious! The store is all about making icecream infront of you, but for some reason the display is covered with all the additional ingredients you could add. So kids can’t see at all, and adults could peak thru the glass in certain angles.So when it comes to the principle of the store which is The ART of making ice cream, the display failed.Otherwise, good icecream, clean seating area. Didn’t try the restroom.“

“I ordered 9 dozen mini cupcakes for my grandparents vow renewal ceremony. I called 2 weeks ahead of the arranged pickup date to confirm my pickup date and time. Well, the day came to pickup my order and the girl working couldn’t find my order. Multiple times I was asked if I ordered at that store and if I ordered in person, etc. Despite having a picture of the checkout screen that showed I paid in full and what I ordered, the worker proceeded to tell me she was going to call the other store to see. The worker went back and forth with me about my order despite the proof that I had. She finally called the manager and walked away from the register to talk to them. I’m assuming the manager had her look multiple places to try and find my order form. The worker told her I had paid for my order and had the picture to prove it but that she had no record of my order. Finally after about 15 minutes of standing at the counter with the worker in the back, she found my order. She came out and said “sorry, we don’t have your order ready. Someone lost the form and put it in the wrong spot”. I drove 40 minutes to pick up my order for it not to be ready and to be doubted that I even placed it with them. The worker said they could do it and have it ready by 8. My mother asked if we were a couple minutes late would someone be there for us to pick it up because our pickup time was 4pm and we were to have to get ready for the party at 6pm. The worker looked at us dumbfounded and said she’d have to ask then said the latest they could stay would be 830 and said “sorry but we will see you at 8”. Not once did a manager contact me and not once was I offered any type of discount for their mess up. I understand things get misplaced but the way this business handles those mishaps is unprofessional. To make someone who ordered and had the proof of said order question themselves is wrong. I drove 40 minutes ONE WAY to get the cupcakes and had to do it again just to pick them up. This place of business is totally unprofessional - not once did I get a sincere apology or a call from a manager. I will never use this place of business again.“

“Had the most incredible looking and tasting cake made and brought to a friend's birthday party, from a Taste of Brooklyn! She's super into sloths and David Bowie, so, we made a very off the wall request to the bakers here, and they absolutely nailed it. You'll need to get a look at the pictures to see what I mean, but definitely do so, because you're going to want you own after you see it. The amount of detail on the cake was incredible, the icing was flawlessly smooth on top, with an incredible representation of Bowie as a sloth. The sides were meticulously styled to look like fur, which made for a fun experience taking it out of the box. Adults and kids were impressed, even if the kids didn't get the reference. It also tastes as good as it looked. Cake perfectly moist through all the layers, icing was creamy without being overpoweringly sweet. The ratio of cake to icing was spot on. I'm not normally one to prefer a chocolate on chocolate cake, normally wanting more contrast, but this one i definitely finished a full piece. I'd highly recommend A Taste of Brooklyn for all your baking needs!“
