I am proud of my local international airport RDU. It is growing in leaps and bounds meeting the needs of the state of North Carolina and the Country. Keeping up with aviation safety standards is at the top of my list followed by customer satisfaction, service and growing number of available destinations both international and domestic. Wish all airports did this!
It is a really nice airport but you wait on your checked in luggage longer than your flight took. I have been to many airports, in US, Canada, Europe and South America. Luggage claim process at RDU is the worst, by far!
