20-minute wait but well worth it. The ribs were absolutely fall of the bone delicious. So large of a quantity that I brought back more than half to Maryland. The shrimp appetizer was okay, but I am from Maryland, and I found them very plain (not steamed but boiled) and served cold. The cocktail sauce that came with them was fire though. Certain bites would get your nose a burnin. The beers were good and cold and the service was excellent. The crab dip and popcorn shrimp was also reported by joining family members as good and plentiful. If I am ever back in Mount Airy, I will certainly be back. Thanks for a great time 13-Bones.
I’m from out of town and I chose to go here for dinner. Let me tell you the food is absolutely amazing. The wait was a little long to get a table, but it was well worth it! There was a hostess whose name is Kristy Brown. She was amazing. My boyfriend has diabetes and she was kind enough to get him some chocolate and a sweet tea. His sugar was dropping. We can’t thank you or your restaurant enough!! Thanks for the amazing food and the amazing service. We will definitely be back again when we are in town again.
The restaurant was standard environment of a bar/restaurant. It was clean and the people were very friendly. Our waitress nicole was very very kind and attentive. I had the pork chop. It was a little on the dry side, but had a good flavor. My S.O had the salmon. He thought it was mediocre. The vegetables were nice. I four out of five because of the attentiveness of the waitress and the location which was very close to areas where people were staying. The chef could be a little better and preparing his/her food. I would recommend this restaurant.
Wanted ribs so stopped in for an early dinner. Ambiance ok, no upscale restaurant in area that we could find. Our waitress was pleasant and very attentive. Our ribs and sides were not hot and ribs were dry. Not sure I would recommend that entree. They did have a varied menu though.
We had dinner at 13 bones last Saturday. The steak and shrimp was fantastic! Our waiter was Logan and this guy gave us great service. He had great smile with lots of humor and character! Looking forward to going back, Thanks Logan!
We thought the wait was going to be worth dining here however that was not our experience. The waitress we had was very attentive. The floors needed to be swept, restroom was in need of attention, and the food was horrible. My husband ordered a rib eye and I had beef tips. The steak was cut very thin and was tough. The beef tips were very tough and disappointing.
Wife had sirloin steak with salad and sweet potato. She was very satisfied and food tasted great. I had the flounder and popcorn shrimp with fries and slaw. I really enjoyed the food. Waitress was friendly and attentive. Would try again.
Hotel recommended this as "the best" restaurant in Mt. Airy. It quickly got very crowded. We ordered an 8 oz filet and a ribeye. The food was decent. Ashton, our server, was very friendly. Our steaks were not even close to medium, and he promptly took them back and had them cooked the rest of the way.
Prices cannot be beat. The four of us each had different meals. My was two pork chops. I had each one prepared differently, a suggestion from our wonderful server. Wife had ribs. Delectable! The other couple had seafood items. They were pleased. Beer only $3.50. Going back next time in area. Don’t tell anyone.
Only saw waitress 1 time..chicken overcooked, beef tips were like chewing leather...incomplete order...when asked to have Bill adjusted for items not received we were given a gift card...we are out of ownership so it was used as the tip. Very unimpressed

Stopped here for dinner on our way back to PA after vacation. This is definitely a local favorite. We arrived around 4pm on a Saturday evening and immediately got seated. They were packed by the time we left so get here early to avoid the dinner rush. My brother and I both got the ribs with the Kansas City sauce. They were just as others have described - falling off the bone, tender, and flavorful. The sauce was lovely and not spicy at all. We enjoyed every bite. My mom got the chicken tenders platter and also thought her meal was good. Great place to find something for everyone on their menu and enjoy a comfortable meal.
One of the best blackened chicken salads I’ve ever had, complete with hush puppies on the side. My husband the chicken bacon ranch sandwich - outstanding! Wait staff was excellent - professional, friendly and focused on pleasing the guests.
It maybe the best rated restaurant in Mt Airy but it is so far from great. I personally feel they are cutting corners and quality is suffering. Even the little things like the hush puppies are no longer good. It was dry and there was no visible corn meal in it. My wife had the teriyaki chicken and while the chicken was marinated in sauce, they put no sauce on the plate. And while rice is an inexpensive staple, they barely give you a tablespoon of rice on the plate. I had the New Orleans Pasta with shrimp and again not enough sauce, I am pretty sure the shrimp are not local or gulf shrimp but maybe frozen from Southeast Asia. And with a name of New Orleans on the menu, you might expect a little spice in it. Well, nothing doing, I don't even think they cook the pasta in salted water. Tasteless. Another thing is the half price wine on Wednesday which almost all restaurants do in Mt Airy. Their deal is only the $5.00 a glass wine is included which is three undrinkable wines and they don't half price bottles which all other restaurants do. On another occasion the hamburger was ordered medium rare, well it was a dried up Mickee D burger. The place is always busy in spite of its shortcomings. The service is always exceptional. The best thing on the menu which they do not make is the Key Lime cheesecake.
Excellent all the way around. Our New York Strips were cooked exactly as we ordered and tasted delicious. Service was friendly and very accommodating. Thank you for the free anniversary dessert!
