This was a great place to eat the food is still the best but the service is the slowest in town it took 22 minutes to fix some chicken tenders and they forgot the sauce the Short chubby girl I asked for it and she said I would have to wait so it took her 3 more minutes to reach under the counter to get it she's just lazy I will never go in again the reason I went in was the drive through had 14 cars in line and they were 2 in line inside so I figured it would be a lot faster to go in lol ? wrong I could have gotten behind 50 cars and still have gotten my food ⏩ faster!!!!!!!

Vegetarian options: Get rid of the Short slow girl !!!!

Went through the drive thru today, Nov 7 around 3 pm. I had to send my burger back twice. Didn't get my fries with original order. Well I left and got home. I had my burger and fries, but the burger was chokingly dry and didn't have the right toppings (reason for sending it back both times) Thought after that it would be right. Boy was I wrong. Sorry to say that I was looking forward to a good burger, too. Disappointment in a large way.

Took the family to Aunt Bea’s to eat because I heard the food was good. My granddaughter had pancakes & sausage, other grand had hotdogs, chicken strips. The rest of us had pulled pork barbecue, collard greens, Mac and Cheese, and Peach cobbler

Parking: Parking and Handicapped Parking near the front entrance with plenty of space available on the side.

Kid-friendliness: It’s a kid-friendly environment and there’s ice cream!!!

My husband and I were on our anniversary weekend in Mt. Airy and this place looked great. Glad we stopped to dine in and grab a bite.

Update from 2020. Still not worth going there. Pre COVID, my wife and I would go there 2-3 times a week for lunch. It is btw where we worked. It used to be good.

COVID was awful here.

Today we went here for ground steak sandwiches. We were going to drive thru, but it was backed up and not moving at 2:30 pm. A normally slow time for any restaurant. No one at counter so we went in. Ordered combos with potato wedges. Order was complete at 2:27 according to receipt. 12 minutes later we got our dine in order in a go bag. No one said thanks or anytime, just put the bag on the counter, called the number and walked away. The same car that was at the drive thru window waiting for their order when we went inside 15 minutes earlier got their food at the same time. (!)

Our food was only lukewarm. Nowhere near hot. No discernible difference in the large and small sandwiches that we ordered. They were both small and lacking much ground steak or slaw.

This is why we quit going to CF Jones restaurant, owned by same guy. Cold food and long wait times, plus the new high prices everyone has. I have talked to the owner a lot over the years and am guessing he has no idea about this.

The manager did refund our amount, so there is that. But that doesn't make up for the rest. And we just can't justify going here when there other restaurants that will take better care of us and give better food.

What happen to Aunt Bea's.....use to be great food, but we ate there today and had to throw it away and it was just hamburgers. The help did not look the cleanest, even the Health Dept. showed up and they started screaming "Health Dept is here....clean up and cover everything. Not going back!!!

My husband got the BBQ. He said it tasted like canned meat. He couldn't eat it. Nasty.

Price is a bit high. Food varies from visit to visit. One time, very good and a lot of food. One time, not as good, and less food.

Parking: Plenty of parking and overflow if needed.

Kid-friendliness: Typical fast food atmosphere.

Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs and sloped entrance.

A wonderful family-focused old fashioned Diner paying homage to an American TV classic. The service here was very polite, considerate, and kind. The food was wonderful. I had a cheeseburger and crinkle fries and both were exceptionally made. Definitely worth a stop if you are in the Mt. Airy area. Mayberry authentic for sure.
