Great place to eat! Great food and service, but young girls who worked today at the cash register are very rude. She spoke so quietly and was not one bit friendly. I couldn't hear anything she said and when i had to ask her what she said (3 different times!), she was obviously annoyed. No smile, just acted really bothered. Not a good impression.

Went here for dinner on a weeknight. Great place to eat if staying at the Comfort Inn. The service was fast and accurate. The waiter was friendly and professional. The food was good. Typical American Mexican restaurant good variety of food choices.

We took a day trip to Mount Airy and found many of the restaurants in town were closed on Sunday.So we continued to google food in the area and stumbled upon this Mexican restaurant.As we were approaching the restaurant, I noticed that they had a really decent size outdoor seating area with a lovely fountain however closed because of the season but nice to know they have it.We love the style of the building & the decor evokes memories of Mexico. It’s festive!My husband & I focused on the lunch menu.We also tried a guacamole appetizer that was very delicious!I also really enjoyed the mild salsa they bring out immediately with chips.My husband requested a hotter salsa for himself and they brought it out.We both really liked the flavor profile at this restaurant. It’s tasty food!I didn’t catch the name of my husband’s main dish but he loved it!I went with the fajita taco salad with grilled chicken. I did my own thing & poured the mild salsa they brought out with the chips over my bowl & it made it even more delicious!Check out Chile Rojo the next time you are in the area ??

The worst Burrito I ever had. Burrito comes with little vegetables and no rice. Does not fill you up and taste terrible

I used to come here lots and now I understand why I haven't been back for 2 years. Food standards have gone way down hill. Management cutting to many corners. Food was horrible, sign on door says open til 10 and when we got in the restaurant at 9, they did not say that they were closing early due to slow service. Rice was hard and barely heated, fajita quesadilla was as small a a soft taco, only 4 small pieces of grilled chicken, this was unbelievably the worst, felt rushed to try and eat due to closing early, will not be back. Change business hours on door for winter months so customers can be aware. Now we understand why business is slow with the food standards being so awful.

If you’re staying at Comfort Inn Mount Airy, do yourself a favor, walk across the street and eat this food. Vibrant atmosphere with birthday wishes being sung to another table nearby, great service. The food is AMAZING—everything was steamy, delicious. Accommodating to babies.Kid-friendliness: The restaurant is great to children. Accommodating and understanding.
