Decent fast food with a grilled taste. They messed our order up both days we went, but the food was good. The Cajun grilled chicken sandwich and Cajun fries were great!

Dear Lord, I have no idea why people are dogging this place with all the low-star reviews. I’ve been down here the past couple summers, and every time I’ve swung by Cookout, it’s hit the spot. Look—this is fast food, so I’m not expecting a white tablecloth experience. But even with expectations set low, Cookout has consistently impressed me.
The first time I ordered hot dogs, I’ll admit I was a little thrown off. I’m from Michigan, so when we say hot dogs, we’re usually talking Coney-style—mustard, chili, onions. At Cookout, I got these bright pink hot dogs with slaw. Totally different vibe. But I’ve gotta say… they were delicious. I’ve ordered them more than once now, from different Cookout locations, and they’ve been solid every time.
Bottom line: If you’re expecting a gourmet meal, you’re in the wrong place. But if you want good food fast, and you’re open to something a little different, Cookout delivers. I’m a fan, and I’ll keep coming back.

Interesting experience for sure. Wanting to try Cook Out since it’s only in the south, but truthfully it wasn’t anything special. This particular location was rather gross looking on the outside, with no indoor seating. Food presentation and taste could have been better, but the shakes are deliciously thick for sure.
