Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

The food came out quicker than I expected. It was delicious. The waitress was nice and friendly and checked on me several times. I ordered decaf coffee and she refilled my cup without asking.

Great food and service! Chicken pot pie and Shepherds pie was great! Friendly service.

It was busy but I was patient. But probably won’t order again

35 minutes before order taken. Food brought to table after we had been there 50 minutes. Everyone’s food was cold. When fork was placed in mashed potatoes the whole order was on the fork because it was cold. Not a good experience

My husband ordered a vegetable plate and I ordered the beans and greens.My food came out nice and hot but everything on my husband's plate was cold. So cold that the butter wouldn't even begin to melt. I tried to get him to send it back but he hates to complain. He couldn't believe how hot mine was. His plate had to have been sitting back there for a long time. One of the vegetables was something that he didn't order. I think they got the plates mixed up and he ended up getting one that had been sitting for a long time because it wasn't even warm.

We love this Mt. Airy Cracker Barrel. The food is always very good and excellent, friendly servers. You can’t beat those $5 take home meals either.

Kid-friendliness: There’s plenty of kid-friendly food and the servers have always been very nice & patient when my son orders.

My order was not correct and both entrees were lukewarm to cool. When expressing my meal was not correct, I said it was not correct but if it was too big a hassle, I’ll eat it anyway. Waitress said ok.

Have never had delicious food at CB, but haven't been in over 10 years. Decided to eat here for TG on a limited menu. The meatloaf and Mac & cheese was decent. The chicken dumplings were so salty we couldn't finish it. The sweet baby carrots were also super sugary sweet that after a couple bites, I was done. Maybe in another 10 years.

We ordered 7 individual meals for Thanksgiving for drive around pickup at the Mt. Airy, NC location. We have done this several years now but this may be the last. We received the wrong sides for one meal, we did not receive rolls with another meal, and two of the meals the macaroni must have been scraped from the bottom of the pan as it was really burned, hard crusted and basically inedible. I did not think to take pictures but I am pretty sure Cracker Barrel management would be embarrassed to see that was served to one of their customers. For basically $100, we can do better. The convenience and ease of pickup was great, food was really subpar unfortunately.

Portions have gotten smaller especially hashbrown casserole. Waitress had the personality of a telephone pole. Definitely prefer Jonesville location
