First time to eat here. Been by and always say I want to try it out. Walked and trash all over the floor. I had food in my booth and floor. Our waitress was Peyton G. When we came in she seeemed mad at us. She said what do you want to drink I said Pepsi my wife said tea. She walks away and comes back. You know what you want to drink. Again we told her twice she says two teas. No Pepsi and one tea. As my wife was trying to tell her we were ready to order she walked away again in mid sentence.We got our food and she ask me if I wanted more tea. I said Pepsi please. Neither my wife or I got a refill. I had to ask for our check and a to go box. As I came back to our table I heard the couple behind us if someone would clean their seats and floor that they told our waitress and she ignored.them. Food was good but floor was nasty and our waitresss just stood at the cash register talking. We wasn’t the only ones wanting a refill. I was hoping I would really like this place.

The waitress was terrible the food sub pair actually it was pretty darn terrible. I shouldn’t even paid for it, but it was the first time and being there. Everybody has a bad day. So a couple of weeks later went back and believe it or not it was worse. I’ll never go back and waste my time there

Hamburger steak was luke warm and was just okay. Pinto and Mac and cheese was good. The tossed sald was just a bowl of lettuce. Good service very friendly people. And great price

This is a no frills southern breakfast spot with a lot of choices. We went twice during our 4-day stay in Mt. Airy since the prices were very fair and the food was good. Not everything was piping hot but it was warm and tasty. It’s an older restaurant and from what we could tell hadn’t gone through much refurbishment but that was part of the charm. An old fashioned place with good prices!

Terrible service. Our waitress was so rude. She stood over me as I was paying the bill to see how much tip I was leaving. She was so inpatient, that she snatched the card reader out of my hand, signed for me and walked away. Disgusting personality. It is a shame as the food was good.

I stopped in yesterday and the food was amazing. The brunch was quite good, and the server was wonderful. Just a heads up, bring a sweater if you get cold easily; it was a bit nippy.
