Great sushi. We eat there regularly and have had a great experience every time

The servers were nice. The fish quality is awful. Fishy flavor, bad texture, lots of bones or other things I can't chew. I really couldn't eat it all and gave up. I'm sad that this is the best sushi Mt Airy has.

Online is stated that they had hibachi. We decided to go there because I do not like seafood and I planned to get chicken/steak hibachi. Others in the party wanted sushi. When we there there they no longer have hibachi, steak, or chicken. Also, it was heavy metal music and rather loud. Not the atmosphere I was going for.

Our family had the Summer Hibachi Nights deal tonight and it was absolutely delicious. I got the shrimp with bang bang and white sauce and my husband got the steak with spicy teriyaki. We both absolutely loved it! My order was ready when I arrived and I was served immediately upon pulling up outside.

We have had excellent sushi here and just ok sushi here. Depends on who is making it is usually the reason. Gotta have that rice seasoning on point to be excellent sushi... of course fresh ingredients are always important. Try the Ahi guacamole appetizer. It's so good.

This was one of our go to restaurants in Mt Airy. Our number one mysteriously closed suddenly (Old North State). And now they changed the menu here. They got rid of their hibachi grill. So no more hibachi chicken or beef. In fact there is no more chicken or beef anything. The sushi is good, the rolls are good. I have never had poke. So this place is now off our list and there is not much left in Mt Airy. There is no fine dining in Mt Airy.

Went to Kazoku tonight for dinner. My family got the Bang Bang shrimp, pork dumplings, Funky sushi roll, and shrimp tempura poke bowl- all w fried rice and noodles. Everything we ordered was absolutely a 10/10.
The service here is also amazing. The servers were very friendly and know the menu very well. Kayden & Hunter both helped us figure out what we would like most on the menu (sauces, types of rolls, etc)! The hostess, Caroline, was also sooooo sweet!!
On top of that, the food came out quick.
This was overall a great experience and we will definitely be back.

The poke bowl is not it. Left a weird and nasty after taste. No worth the price. Paid $2 extra for 2 tempura shrimp lol and it was not even good. The size of these bowls are like a small side salad that goes on the plate with your main course. The steamed white rice was good though.

Inconsistent sushi. Nice employees. I'm a regular, but just because I like healthful food and sometimes you don't feel like cooking.
