Libby Hill Seafood (Mt. Airy)

Food was not up to par. I have eaten at Libby Hills is Greensboro NC since I was a child until they all closed. This Libby Hills is just a name. The slaw was totally different. The fries are crinkle fries not straight fries. The fish and shrimp were greasy. The tartar sauce is not the original Libby Hill style either. Portions were good for a senior plate. Will not be going back.

I was pleasantly surprised, and I felt like I had stepped back in time. The service was excellent. The food was even better. What a great wholesome family atmosphere. The place was packed on Saturday for lunch which I took that as a sign that I should eat there and i was definitely not Disappointed I will Be

We stopped here on our way back from Virginia and had lunch. Food was great. Our waitress was sweet and friendly. Definitely would go again!

I have loved Libby Hill forever. The one in my city closed so I drive 2 hours to Mt Airy NC to eat at that one. I had a trip going through Mt Airy so I thought Libby Hill so 30 mins before I get there I call in my order. They said give them 30 mins. When I get there and go in they say there is no order under my name and one has not been placed. They say If I wait they can fix my order. I was on a time frame and couldn't wait another 30 mins. I was so disappointed.

This is the last remaining Libby Hill Seafood Restaurant that is still open for business. Access to the restaurant is available from North and Southbound NC 89, EAST and Westbound Interstate 74 and Northbound US 601 ( Rockford Street ) by the use of Andy Griffith Parkway ( US 52 West ). They have daily fresh cooked seafood specials along with the regular menu. They also have family meal deals to go on their extensive take out menu. Eat in or take out I prefer the catfish, flounder, calabash shrimp,or oysters with baked potato slaw and hush puppies. Also recommend their fish or shrimp sandwiches
