We both had build your own combo breakfast platter. Combined we had biscuits, sausage gravy, tenderloin, bacon, hash browns, grits, and scrambled eggs. The food on both of our platters was cold when they first brought it out. Our server took them back to the kitchen and microwaved them. The food was quite tasty after being re-heated
I took a friend to breakfast this morning. We ordered eggs benedict with home fries. I requested it be brought out hot. I sent mine back because the home fries were cold. The eggs benedict was Very good. The eggs were perfectly cooked. The second time, it was steaming hot.
We were searching for a quick breakfast before hitting the road for a long drive on our vacation. The Rusty Rooster was perfect! Great food, southern hospitality, all reasonably priced. The decor was country/barn and tastefully done. Highly recommend!
