What can you say about Snappy Lunch? The food, service and prices are all pretty much perfect. There just seems to be a genuine friendly, caring atmosphere about the place.
If you've already been here you know what I mean. If you haven't been here yet - then you need to try it.
Sadly, I only get to Mount Airy a couple of times a year. Breakfast at Snappy Lunch is always at the top of my to-do list here. There's just nothing like it that I have seen.

We were leery but ordered the pork chop sandwich, which is actually pork loin. We had toppings on the side, as I don't like mustard. I liked it, it is different. Person I was with didn't like it, said it didn't have any flavor, he forgot to put mustard in it. I would go back.

Pork chop sandwich was awful. So much thick pancake like breading that had no taste. Hotdogs were not tasty either- chili was terrible. Was really looking forward to eating here. Service was okay, could have came and refilled my drink. Atmosphere was okay but it was very tiny and crammed in. You can get full menu all day.

Definitely NOT the same Snappys! Girl cooking is VAPING in the kitchen while working over the grill!!! We ask for pork chop sandwiches...they were dry & hard like they were left over from yesterday!! What happened to this place!!!

The pork chop sandwich was delicious. We were skeptical at first, but the flavors blended together nicely. Large enough for two people to share. Service was friendly.

Their famous pork chop sandwich is 90 percent bread with something claiming to be pc inside. Waitress and staff are rude.
Pork chop sandwich was terrible. No taste or flavor. When i complained to change to something else they said i would still have to pay for sandwich. Horrible experience. Will NOT go back. Customer beware of this place.

Service was good. Food…meh! Hole in the wall place with very little seating and you have to wait outside to be seated. Got the “famous” pork chop sandwich. After the first bite I really thought they had given me a fish sandwich. It did not taste like any pork sandwich that I have ever had. The breading was more like a pancake mix. I believe Snappy’s is more of a tourist attraction than anything else. I can’t imagine many local locals actually eating there. I would recommend eating elsewhere unless you just want a grilled cheese and chips.

We love going to snappy lunch. The kids and I eat here at least once a month. Pork chop sandwich, BLT, hot dog, or grilled cheese you can't go wrong!

Food wasn't hot. Place wasn't clean (don't look at the floor, ew). But the worst was the service. The server was blatantly annoyed with anything we asked. When we asked for cutlery after food was brought, annoyed face and cutlery was LITERALLY tossed onto the table. When MIL asked for mayo for her BLT, the server truly rolled her eyes at us. It's obvious that they simply rely on being a tourist attraction and don't need your return business. Also, wife and I had burgers and the patties were room temp and they were preformed school cafeteria flavorless meat patties - pretty bad. Don't waste your time and money. Pretty sure Andy Griffith never ate there.
