Fun place if you are in town.

This place is truly unique as is Mt Airy. What a gem this little Mayberry city is, right out of the Andy Griffith show. The food was unique as well. You have to have the breaded porkchop sandwich all the way !!!! It's very good and very filling. The ladies behind the counter are wonderful but because this place is pretty busy you don't get to talk to them much. Mt Airy is a must do as well as Snappys. Breakfast is served until 10:30 and then it switches to lunch until 1:45.

First time eating Snappy Lunch. Pork Chop sandwich is the way to go.

This is a must in Mt. Airy! But, plan ahead because every time we’ve gone there’s been a wait. Our most recent trip we ended up calling our order in and finding a table along the side walk to enjoy our sandwiches. The pork chop sandwiches are what they’re known for but if you aren’t a fan of pork they have lots of other things on their menu u that are just as good!

Stopped in for lunch after visiting the Andy Griffith museum. The prices were reasonable and the service was outstanding! We were excited to try the 80 year old *famous pork chop sandwich.* We will return!

Very poor service and extremely rude waitress. We were met with an eye roll when we came in with 4 families and told the waitress how many were in our party. The large dining area was closed, so we split up between 3 booths. We had several children but we ordered for them all and could not have made it any easier for the waitress. The tables were nasty, we were stepping in spilled drinks from the table before us, they made no effort to clean the tables off for us, so we used baby wipes to clean before we sat down. One of the waitresses was very snippy and rude. When we did not receive all the chips we ordered, she stated that she brought us what we ordered and turned to walk away with a very annoyed look. We had to ask another, much nicer waitress to please bring us the rest of the chips we did order, and offered to pay the difference if there was any misunderstanding on the ticket. All in all the food was decent, but the service is just absolutely garbage and this restaurant continues to go downhill due to being seemingly constantly short staffed (although it could be run much for efficiently,) and the character of the waitresses is always very poor. It’s really disappointing that what was once a very good place to eat has turned into a place where paying customers are treated as a total inconvenience. Note, our kids were well behaved and not a problem. There was no reason for the attitude from the waitress, aside from not wanting to deal with us.

Service was very prompt and efficient, food was delivered quickly and packaged well. It has been awhile since I've been here and since last visit owner has past. Food was as I remembered and wasn't prepared the same. Still very busy and worth a try but not what was made famous for.

Pork chop sandwich is great, they are famous for it, but don't sleep on the ground steak or sausage sandwich! I suggest one of each!
Back again, we go at least 2 or 3 times a year and after years of inflation, covid and worldwide chaos they have only increased prices my $0.10! Thank you for being about the customer, not big profits ?

I ate there today with my boyfriend. My ground steak sandwich was so dry with hardly any slaw. My boyfriend's cheeseburger was missing the cheese and onion he asked for. I wanted a breaded cheeseburger but they didn't have it. Very disappointed. The cheap prices match the quality of the food.

If you go to this area and don’t stop here, you’re going to regret it. Pork sandwich is like none other, staff is super nice, and it’s really a step back into the past. Cool fact; you could try one of everything on the menu for like 60 bucks. And you’ll want to, because it’s all delicious

Went here on Monday at 12:00, we made it just in time to walk right on in, and after that a line formed, and there was a wait! The restaurant was exciting to visit. The staff was friendly, and it was very clean. We all ordered something different, and it was good. The cheeseburger was my favorite. It was a regular burger, with a bag of chips. (No fries) The Bologna sandwich my friend said was good! We also ordered the infamous Pork Chop sandwich. Had to get it to try it out, but I didn't care for it, because there was more batter than pork chop. But that's just my take. With the bun and all the breading, it was just too much for me personally. But it was very fresh, and the toppings were great!. It was a great place to visit, and everyone should experience it for yourself!!!
