It was a little weird to have Mexican type food with Asian food. The sushi was okay but the spicy mayo wasn't spicy. The tacos were meh. Mostly because they had the sushi sauces. The ceviche was good and the service was fantastic. It wasn't terrible but it didn't knock our socks off.

New cook has ruined a favorite restaurant of mine: Teriyaki chicken was not edible as cook had used Cajun seasoning and was spicy with cayenne pepper. Had been ordering this dish almost every week for past year and was always good with true sweet Teriyaki taste. Asked to be remade without Cajun seasoning and was told spice was added to Teriyaki sauce and couldn't be removed. No offer to resolve a meal I could not eat. Have also been ordering the California Tempura roll with soy wrap for over a year and the new cook states this cannot be done. SMH! Dinner guest had Boom Boom shrimp appetizer, and its not the same either, tastes more like a peanut sauce than spicy boom boom sauce. Beware if you have food allergies as menu no longer depicts what is used for ingredients! Asian nachos are no longer on the menu, they were a great and unique appetizer.

We need to point out at the start - this is a bar in spirit, with the confused menu of owners who need to back off.

Food ordered:
Beer
Mayberry Roll
Singapore Noodles
House Salad with Ginger Dressing
Philly Cheesesteak

Starting off, the atmosphere matches a bar - and if you look at the first few photos and the name, you would expect a pub. This is not a pub… it’s a confused Asian-Tex Mex with just enough grill items to justify the “grill” in its name.

To note - the bar quality is great. Taps are kept stocked, lines are solid.

We got a sushi roll as an app and were blown away by the quality. Fresh, tight roll. Clean ingredients. Excellent flavor pair. The best part of the night.

Now - entrees -

The noodles were atrocious. Overcooked slop, no sauce, the only flavor is black pepper. Half the plate is cooked onions in various stages of cooked. The carrots are microwaved frozen carrots tossed on the plate as an afterthought. The meat was ordered rare and came three stages past well done. I wouldn’t feed that to my dog. They’re using Cantonese noodles, which are fairly hard to overcook but damn they found a way.

The salad it came with is an average American salad. The ginger dressing is GREAT - one note though. It’s a *lemon* ginger dressing. I found the lemon seed in the dressing container.

The cheesesteak was dry. As one of the only traditional pub dishes on the menu, I expected it to be knocked out of the park, and it wasn’t evening a wow.

Overall, the menu is unruly. Noting the multiple sushi and hibachi joints nearby, I would recommend a redo on the menu. There was no one here eating food - they were all drinking. A pub is needed in the area and they clearly have the clientele to support it. Cut the menu by 3/4. Reign in the vibes.

Or promote your sushi chef and cut everything else.

Dietary restrictions: Citrus allergy - the ginger dress is a citrus ginger dressing.

Food is good but Julie is an awful manager, I heard her yelling at an employee today and it really just ruined my experience, I will never return

It was my first time here and it was a great choice! I was shocked at how much sushi they provided, but on top of that they had other choices that were good too. They also have a good drink menu if you like cocktails.

Vegetarian options: They have salads, noodles, and other vegan/vegetarian and gluten free options.

Dietary restrictions: Some dishes are vegetarian/vegan friendly and gluten free

Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu
