The Copper Pot Restaurant

Went here to pick up desert to go. I walked right in and there was no wait. The cashier was friendly and easy to talk to. There was abundant parking and a home cooked restaurant feel. We ordered the German chocolate cake slice, blueberry cheesecake slice and a regular cheesecake slice which totaled around 23 dollars. The deserts were delicious but kinda pricey at 7 dollars each. However the German chocolate cake slice was very large, the cheesecake slices were regular sized pie slices. I was very delighted with my experience at the copper pot. On another note I did find the deserts to be of better taste than other restaurants so well worth the higher prices.

This is a fantastic stop on an Ohio - Florida road trip. The food was very good and there is plenty of it! The grilled chicken was tender and not dry. The pulled pork has great flavor, as does the meatloaf. Get the cornbread! Our server was very efficient and extremely friendly. She made good recommendations. We will make this a regular stop on this trip.

Incompetent servers and staff. She didn't even know what items they had on the menu and acted like I was crazy for ordering the catfish. She put me on hold to ask if they actually serve catfish. She called back the order correctly.

I get home and they've totally screwed up my dad's bacon cheeseburger. It had NO BACON. They added a tomato he didn't ask for. My mother's burger was RAW. COLD and RED. I asked for well done. Cold baked potato. No butter or sour cream in the bag. Shrimp was pretty much still frozen and catfish was raw. Horrible food that went in the trash as soon as we opened up the bag and saw it.

DO NOT get to-go food here! They will serve you leftover cold, uncooked foods!! Find another place! At least if you eat inside you can send the food back. If you get home to find the raw food I got you're SOL.

Passing through on a road trip. Walked in to restaurant there was a cloud of fish smelling grease smoke all over. Waitress was very nice and efficient. The food was just ok. My clothes and jacket all smell like fish grease though.

Food was not that great. Chicken had way too much breading on it making it look bigger than it was. The waitress never came back to the table to see if we needed anything- yet sit down at a table and had a conversation with 2 guys like she wasn't working. The atmosphere was fair
