Great service and small town feel. Unfortunately, I have to mention a couple negatives and I wish I wouldn’t have to since this is the only true coffee shop in Mount Holly. The physical marketing of this place lacks, you could barely tell this id a coffee shop from the outside. I am guessing their revenue comes mostly from the locals that know. Lastly, and most regrettably, the coffee used to make lattes, not sure if that’s their main blend, I believe it to me Guatemalan coffee, tasted just like mean mug coffee co, and in my opinion just doesn’t have a good taste. Wish these things will change as they are very conveniently located and the service is amazing.

I've historically had good coffee here; however, the last time I came in, I asked for straight black coffee, reinstated that I wanted black coffee after being told of a flavored roast, and was given this odd, caramel-flavored black coffee. Hopefully it was just a flule; Catawba is my go-to coffee in West Charlotte.

My only go-to place for coffee and good company. Catawba Coffee is the definition of hometown, neighborhood, local business. Great pastries. Quality hand crafted drinks combined with a quaint cozy atmosphere in the shop. Staff is a friendly crew no matter the time of day or who’s on duty at the time. 10 out of 10 recommend Catawba Coffee. Bring a friend and hangout or grab a quick cup on your way through Mount Holly. You will not be disappointedKid-friendliness: Shop owners Irene and Joseph have grandchildren that are in the shop often. A total family safe environment. I bring my one year old in with me often to work or just hangout and the Staff loves to pass him around. Definitely a diverse and inclusive environment welcoming to all.

Best coffee in the area! The coffee is amazing! My favorites are the Nutella Mocha and the Buttery Pumpkin Latte! The employees are so nice and friendly! It is so cute inside and the vibe is perfect! They always have the best music playing and the comfiest couches! If you are in the area you have to check it out! It won't disappoint! (Also definitely the best prices in the area! (Always a plus!)

I was so delighted to find such a quaint little neighborhood coffeeshop near my house, and I really wanted to love this place, but STYROFOAM CUPS?!? Really?? I was hoping that they'd offer mugs instead of takeaway cups, but their only options are Styrofoam cups. I'd rather not be poisoned with microplastics while drinking my coffee or contribute to Styrofoam in landfill waste (it can take up to 500 years to decompose!) so I will not be coming here again and I cannot recommend it to others.

The barista girls were giving me the ~Thousand Yard Stare~ when it came to ordering and I couldn't really tell if it was because they were like nervous or they disliked me or they just had nothing to say. But it definitely gave me a feeling that I was not welcome for some reason? Gave that vibe of talking crap about someone and then they show up, even though I've never been there before hahaha. Just because they seemed chatty and friendly with everyone else that ordered or while they sat around talking to each other. alas I'll never know. BUT. The vibe of the place is pretty cute given the space that they have. I had no clue it was there but I am beyond obsessed with a place that has good seating! Finally some couches I can sit back into like thank the Lord. Really cute interior doesn't hurt your eyes to look at. Has character. The drink I had was amazing but it was a simple drink after all. Maybe a lil on the pricey side but negligibly so for a treat. So yeah

Ordered hot chocolate here before the annual Mount Holly lantern parade, it was very good. The place is located near the main street of Mount Holly, so there are many walkable interesting places around this coffee shop. The place is quite small and it may be not too comfortable to sit around for long, but the drinks are excellent. The staff is very friendly and they serve your drinks with happiness- unlike many others who just serve you robotically.Parking is nearby and there are lots of spaces to park. They have a restroom for the customers.Parking: Public parking is located behind the building.
