Great experience both times we have patronized Jack Beagle's in Mt. Holly NC. We have dined for brunch on a Saturday morning and have had dinner on an early Saturday evening. The food on both occasions was fabulous, and the portions are large. Prices are reasonable. Excellent bar service - highly recommend their Bloody Mary! Servers are very attentive and knowledgable of the menu.

Great place for a quick date night or just to grab a bite to eat & watch the game at the bar. More times than not there is no wait. And if you're a shot taker their shots are huge lol. Personally never had an issue with service.

This is a great spot for a relaxed lunch. Great burgers, Mac and Cheese and cheese steak sandwiches. They have a good sized beer selection as well.

Ah, the culinary gem that is "Jack Beagles" – where the ambiance screams nostalgia, and the grease stains on the menu tell tales of a thousand meals past. The décor is a delightful mix of '70s kitsch and grandma's attic chic, creating an aesthetic that could be generously described as "eclectic."Upon entering, you're greeted by the warm scent of yesterday's fried delights, lingering like a seasoned welcome committee. The charming wobble in the mismatched chairs adds an element of surprise to every seating experience – a game of culinary roulette, if you will. Now, let's talk about the menu – a literary masterpiece featuring a bewildering array of dishes, all united by a common theme: "generous portions." The chef's daring fusion experiments, such as the spaghetti burrito or the lasagna smoothie, showcase an avant-garde approach to gastronomy that even Heston Blumenthal might find bewildering.Service at Jack Beagles is a symphony of unpredictability. The waitstaff's interpretive dance between tables keeps patrons on their toes, wondering if their orders will arrive before the next solar eclipse. It's a dining experience that truly embraces the concept of suspense. As for the hygiene, the charming presence of a resident cat and a family of industrious cockroaches adds a rustic touch, reminding diners that they are indeed in the lap of authentic, unpretentious cuisine. In conclusion, Jack Beagles is a culinary time capsule, a place where tradition clashes with innovation in a spectacular dance of flavor and questionable life choices. It's not for the faint of heart or a functioning digestive system, but for those seeking an adventure that tests the limits of both taste and intestinal fortitude, Jacks is an unmissable destination.

Never had the food there so I couldn't rate it.Bad customer service with to-go orders. Background music being extremely loud made it hard to hear so the one to answer the phone decides to cancel all to-go orders right now. 10: 12pm. Thursday, February 8,2024.I won't call back??‍♀️✌?

Went in to eat after work as per usual at this location. I order my typical water in a ToGo cup and they tell me I can’t have it in a ToGo cup because of the food trucks outside. I asked for a reason and was only given that we just can’t. I even suggested that I leave the water cup there after I’m finished just so that I could have something with my meal and was told that was not an option. I asked for a manager and one was not there so they called the owner who also declined to give me my drink in a Togo cup. With all the sicknesses going around, there should always be that option. I would understand if I was drinking alcohol or had sat at the bar but I only came for a quick dinner after a long day of work. I’m appalled at how they treat their returning customers. We went right down the street to another restaurant that allowed me to eat my meal with a Togo water.

When I got my order it was wrong. I didn't want peppers or onions. Before we even got our food I watched it set up on the ledge for a while, while it got pushed around for other peoples orders. Our waitress went MIA. Another waitress brought our food which was wrong. I sat and waited on my waitress to come back and when she did she said "oh you already got your food". I ask for a refill and to get my husband a sprite because the tea was watered down. Well I got mine but he didn't. Our neighboring table had to get his own utensils. She offered to make it right but by this time I was done. I would not recommend nor go back. First impressions are everything!!
