Wow, this restaurant is great! This is the best pizza that I've had in the Charlotte area in a long time. The pizza was loaded down with fresh cut veggies and meats. The crust wasn't wet or soggy in the center of the pizza like a lot of pizza places & the crust didn't fold over while eating it. Very impressed with the quality & the price range of the pizza. I highly recommend giving Papa Sammy's a try.

I thought the pizza had great flavor and cooked well, it was very greasy however and did not sit well with me or my family if you get what I mean. I did also find a small piece of plastic in the pizza. Hoping it was just a bad day.

The pizza is very good for the area. The meatballs from the meatball sub seemed like they were maybe frozen and the sub bread was terrible. It was way too soft and became way too soggy, unfortunately. The mild wing sauce was delicious and the wings were a very good size.

We got the XL Pappa Sammy's pizza and it was so good! Grandson Jaden I think? Sorry if I got that wrong. ? took my order and I told him to make it sloppy with extra cheese and extra sauce. That's exactly what they did too. That sauce though!! You can tell it's homemade because nothing that good comes in a jar or a can. The crust was chewy the way we like it too. I love the rustic tables with the encorporated classic games and the menu on the blackboard covering an entire wall. We definitely will be back!

Absolutely some of the best pizza in the Charlotte area. I would be willing to say the best in Gaston county. You can tell the ingredients were quality and fresh. Crispy crust without being overcooked, very flavorful sauce without being overwhelming. 9/10
