I love this place. The Pad Thai is the best in the area. I eat it once a week. My husband loves the Pho, and the wings are delicious as well. Everything we've had here has always been fresh and hot. Their prices are very low as well compared to surrounding restaurants and food trucks.

I found this pho spot completely by accident. I was on my way home from a dentist appointment, craving pho like my life depended on it, so I hit up Google—and boom, this place pops up just 5 minutes away. I was already suspicious because, if you know Charlotte and the surrounding areas, finding truly great cuisine can feel like a heroic quest.
When I pulled up and saw a grocery store, I thought Google had officially betrayed me. But the second I walked in… oh no, Google *delivered*. I knew instantly I had discovered a hidden gem.
I ordered Beef Pho and Lemon Pepper wings—yes, both, because balance—and let me tell you… that first sip and first bite? Heavenly. The broth was perfectly seasoned, the beef was tender, the noodles were cooked *perfectly*. My eyes genuinely watered like I had just reunited with a long-lost love.
While I sat there eating for about 30 minutes, I watched people coming in and out nonstop picking up to-go orders. At that moment, I realized something: there *is* hope for good food in this area.
And listen—anyone who makes a homemade lemon pepper sauce deserves a Nobel Prize. Those wings were crispy, juicy, had the perfect snap… I’m getting emotional thinking about them.
I will be returning ASAP. Actually? I’m already on my way back.

I'm low carbing it, so ordered the combo pho with no noodles.
This is EASILY the best broth I've ever had.

Was feeling a bit extra so I added an extra of everything, should’ve added a side of rice to enjoy with all the extra sauce.. just get an extra plate next time. It’s a mini market.. and has good food.
This place wasn’t anything fancy, but it sure was delicious. It was the best convenience store food I’ve ever eaten!
We ordered the beef pho, chicken pad thai, and fried rice, which we asked to make vegetarian. All were incredibly flavorful and very authentic tasting, and the portions were large. The pho was rich and the basil and chili sauces were great additions. We also ordered the lemon pepper wings, because we felt like we had to given that it’s called Samvay’s Wings and Subs. They were also great - nice and crispy and very lemony. There are drinks from the convenience store for purchase. The service was very fast, and the two owners were lovely. The woman working in the kitchen was super funny! Though you’re seated in an unassuming convenience store, the flavors transport you to Asia.
I highly recommend stopping here if you’re in Mount Holly or anywhere in the area. It hit the spot!
