“Hey Y’all! That’s a good pie!
Just got to enjoy the hey y’all pie from pies & sides for the first time with my wife. It tastes so nostalgic. Would definitely buy and enjoy this pie again.
Side note:
Did this guy really buy a Deep South tomato pie that clearly has pimento cheese in the ingredients and then have the audacity to say that it was greasy…. I look forward to trying the Deep South tomato pie.“

“TLDR; Very friendly and fast service, nostalgic food with phenomenal flavor development and a welcoming environment. 10/10 recommend.Wow. This place was recommended by a friend and I’m so glad I went. It is clean, welcoming and when you first walk in it smells soooo good - which is always a good sign to me that the food is going to taste amazing.I got the Saturday special of beef tips over rice and gravy, hush puppies, with sides of green beans and baked beans. All the beans. This meal….when I tell you it brought me back to sitting at my grandmas on a weekend long forgotten, I mean it. This meal transported me through time. My grandma is no longer with me, and to feel connected again after many years…I’m now a loyal customer. The gravy was so flavorful, the beef tips had just the right amount of char and the green beans were fantastic!!My partner got the half BBQ chicken with French fries, mashed potatoes and cornbread. There was nothing left on his plate. I will say the hush puppies were better than the cornbread in my opinion, but I’m a hush puppy lover.Give this place a shot. It’s worth it!
Kid-friendliness: Plenty of space and I saw coloring and reading books below the hostess stand!
Wheelchair accessibility: There are no stairs and the entry way is wide. The doors are not automatic but definitely wide and accessible.“

“celebrated my daughters 13th birthday here tonight and we had the best time! The staff were all so sweet and helpful! They took care of serving our food and even cutting the cake for us and passing it out. They also packed up the rest of the food and cake for us to take home! It was nice to be able to hang out and talk to everyone without having to worry about those little things! Thank yall for a great night!“

“Tried Tryon house out for my birthday dinner and it did not disappoint! Food was amazing, came out very quickly and our waitress Keleigh was fast and very sweet! I recommend the turkey and dressing! It was delicious!“

“I am a Charlotte area event planner and Taste of Heaven was my caterer for the most recent wedding I produced. They did excellent work! The food was phenomenal especially the soulful eggrolls #yummy I would highly recommend them for any event but especially for a wedding.“

“I just love the people who work here and the crowd that comes here as well. They’re always very friendly and helpful. I’m a mama of two little kids under 5 and everyone we met was so kind. The food is really good as well. Definitely would recommend their spaghetti!“
“I don't know why but I have been to 5 different Gas Station Chicken restaurants in various states and it is absolutely the best chicken you can get . The chicken has nice spices and was both Krispy and Krunchy . They also good fries and a dazzling array of dipping sauces. So if you are thinking about having disgusting KFC stop by here and have a good meal .“

“Throughly enjoyed my ribeye except what kind of meat was it. Some of it was tough. The garlic butter didn't melt. And being here the second time. Bake potato was cold wouldn't even melt the cheese and not cooked through. Plus my husband asked for the same batter that they used on the shrimp for the fish. Absolutely 💯 perfect . The restaurant need to add it to the menu for fish and Chip with malt vinegar. He comes from England. More business for you“

“Showmars is a place that can hold its own; however, this location puts you in the mind of a small little gem. Due to its nestled in a shopping center tucked away in the corner and hardly any parking space available. The staff makes the experience worth your while for visiting and food takes you right where your stomach needs to be, satisfied.“
