I’ve never experienced anything more unprofessional at a bar. My group was already seated, drinks in hand, fully settled in — and the staff actually made us get up and move because “someone who always sits there” walked in. Excuse me? We were already sitting there, and apparently being a paying customer doesn’t matter if you’re not their favorite.
What makes this even worse is that we are always at this establishment. We come here regularly to hang out with friends, support the business, and enjoy the atmosphere but clearly that loyalty means nothing.
If a table is “reserved,” then mark it as reserved. Don’t wait until people are already seated and then tell them to move for someone else. It was rude, embarrassing, and completely disrespectful to guests who were already there spending money.
We won’t be returning it’s obvious that only certain people matter here, and everyone else is treated like they don’t count.

Outside patio? You would think it would be dog friendly. Wrong! The guy made that pretty clear. So we went next door to traust. Better service in my opinion. 😬 oh btw. Couldn’t try to the food for the first time cause we had a dog and had to leave. ✌️

What an awesome bottle shop! This is a tap room/bottle shop with a food truck and tables nestled in an adorable outdoor sitting area out back. We started indoors with just one beer and then headed to the back for food and more beer. I will caution you though, if you want to remember this adorable place in downtown Mt.Holly NC, don’t go to Muddy River Distillery first. As a weakling who can’t handle her drinks, I destroyed my opportunity to brag about how great this food truck is due to the fact that I had three drinks over the course of 4 hours prior to visiting and therefore cannot remember what I ordered. I have it on good authority that the food was fantastic, as described by my DD and the others in my group. Apparently I loved the beer and food and left no crumb or drop unturned. Next time I visit it will be to shop more in this so cute it hurts little town and explore the area as well as to actually remember my experience. Head across the street to the Catalyst Mercantile for some pricey but worth it unique gifts. Dear travelers and Charlotte residents, go hang in Mt. Holly for a fun-filled Saturday! They have all the preciousness of a cute little town that you’ve been looking for without the long drive to Boone or Blowing Rock.
