I love Herbs! The food is always tasty, the atmosphere is very inviting and the service is top notch. I love all their offerings but my favorite is the prime rib! We’re very thankful to have such a high quality restaurant on the west side of the county. I encourage you to take a ride out one weekend and check them out. Plus the scenery is beautiful.
Server was great. The food wasn't sadly. The sauce for the chopped pork had too much vinegar for me. The sides weren't that great either. The potato skins were really nice though. I feel we payed too much for the quality of food we received.
Trout is tasty all well prepared, REAL onion rings and tasty hush puppies. Will scarf 'Que there soon.
Great food. Wonderful service. I definitely recommend eating here!!!
Ok at best. Barbeque used to be finely chipped and very tasty which goes for the sauce as well. Now the new ownership sells bbq that has huge chunks of fat, and the sauce taste is somewhere between sweet and sour but not either of enough to taste anything like the old sauce.
Based solely on a picture of the Pit Master grilling his chicken and ribs, we drove 4.5 hours for dinner only to be greeted with, "We are not doing chicken and ribs this week." Had dinner... it was okay but not worth the travel. Thanks for the disappointment.
Good food, nice service staff, prices are the same like other restaurants, clean, all around good experience. Will go back.
Catfish was good. Pulled pork not good at all. Too much bbq sauce mixed in with it. Service was great! Prices way too high though.
24JUN22, 11:10. Read that this is a special place for BBQ, to hold the rank of part of the BBQ trail. Ordered the brisket and pork, sliced with no sauce, potato salad and baked beans. As a fool, we did not smell BBQ or smoke outside let alone inside- I have left places due to this trick of BBQ signs. The meats were extremely Dr with no smoking flavor, the brisket tasted like prime rib grilled - I really think they gave me that instead of brisket. Pork was from a loin that was 3/16 an inch thick and dry. Pototo salad was good, baked beans had zero love in it. Service was excellent. Atmosphere was good, could not see the pit from where we were. BBQ sauces were all good. Recommend BBQ foodies stay away from this place. This place needs to be removed from the BBQ trail list. Maybe we should have ordered the fish or hamburger.
Fried catfish was good, hushpuppies not so good, cream potatoes didn't taste real, should have gotten fries, salad bar very good, I'll try the barbecue the next time I travel through there.

Love the food and atmosphere!
Solid choice for good ole comfort food. Great pit stop on the way back from the mountains. Best meal we had our entire trip.
Stopped there as it was in a relatively remote part of US 64 on our way to Chatt TN. Always enjoy good BBQ, but it gets harder to find REALLY good BBQ. Herb's does a fantastic job with the Sliced BBQ Sandwich I had. I'd say... if they are open.. STOP!
Excellent place to eat! The BBQ is outstanding. Love the prime rib on the weekends also.
Had awesome sliced pork sandwich with cole slaw and onion rings, and also Brunswick stew. And very friends my staff. Very fun stop during our road trip
