My problem when we Eight there tonight Was that the salad you brought me was on a plate so small I couldn’t toss it with the dressing I couldn’t cut it. I mean it was running over the plate. Get a bigger plate for the side salad, please. I got the shrimp and baked potato that was all perfect. Mark got the chicken and waffles and he really liked them that he didn’t like the shavings on top I thought they were sweet potatoes. He said he didn’t know what they were But he did not eat them. The noise level is a little intense when it gets busy. But overall, we like the food.

Bring plenty of money the food is so good you’ll spend more than you wanted to and be perfectly happy about it I get a dry aged steak for there and one to go very addictive

Got there at 830 (they close at 9 so I realize that might be an inconvenience) salads came out with no dressing the steak I ordered came out almost completely rare with a searing on the outside and when I asked if we could have it cooked more or more dressing they explained the kitchen eas now closed at 9:02. Keep in mind they let us sit there till 845 before taking our order and at that point we were the only customers. While waiting for our food they started cleaning wiping down tables vacuuming and mopping all around us then the cherry on top was the staff at 9pm the second they “closed” set up dinner for themselves and proceeded to eat and use vulgar language as if we weren’t there. Dinner was over $100 so it’s not like this was a cheap little dinner. I will never go back to this place and I suggest you don’t either

Usually the chicken sandwich is nice, but this time the meat was dry, like it was cooked a while ago. But mu wife loved her salad with steak. Service has improved some, but could improve more in organization.

An evening of celebration!! Birthday and house closing....our server was fantastic! The food was absolutely delicious. I had the New York strip... Very tasty. One of my friends said his chicken and waffle was the best he had ever had. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

My Mom and I have eaten at Legend's 5 or 6 times now, so this review is based on multiple visits. Although we previously had so-so experiences, the food and service last night was wonderful! Our waitress (Andrea W) was the best We've had-she was very attentive and kind. The spinach dip is consistently good. I ordered chicken tenders (which were nicely breaded, crispy and tender), greenbeans and a baked potato. The green beans are not from a can! Very good. We also had a piece of cheesecake with raspberry drizzle. We'll definitely be back!

My husband and I visited Murphy and wanted to grab some dinner since we were craving steak. We searched on Google for the best steak in Murphy, NC, and Legends Steakhouse came up — so we decided to give it a try.
I ordered the ribeye steak cooked medium well, with a fully loaded baked potato and yellow saffron rice. The service was good, and our waitress was friendly and attentive. The place itself felt outdated but spacious — kind of like visiting your grandparents’ house: plain and old-fashioned, but still warm and accommodating.
As for the food, the serving size was good, but the steak was tough — really tough. The rice tasted like instant rice from a pouch that you just microwave (trust me I'm asian 😉). The baked potato was good, and I really liked the sweet rolls.
However, when the bill came, I was shocked — it was pricey! We don’t mind paying for good food and service, but in this case, the steak quality didn’t match the cost. Overall, I’d rate the food 6 out of 10, and honestly, I’m not sure I’d recommend this restaurant to my friends or family.
Recommend the chicken and waffles with a cup of coffee. Sweet potatoes on top didn’t taste good but the rest was delicious. Very nice inside but not as high end as we thought it would be.

This place has great food and service. We were waited on by Paisley and she was professional and knowledgeable of the menu. She recommended the steak nachos and they were delicious. I had the legend burger it was outstanding. I definitely will drive back an hour to eat at this restaurant again ❤️

I ordered the Tbone. Very tough...not Prime...cooked correctly, but really tough. I bought Tbones from UGO for $5.99 a pound...they were ten times better than what i was served...Took my 83 years young mother out to eat...spent over a hundred bucks...and we didn't drink any alcohol...water w/lemon...sorry to write a bad review...for the money, just terrible

I'm really not sure how this place has such a good rating. I hate to leave bad reviews for small businesses but this place is entirely overpriced for the quality of the food. Our steaks were very tough. I'm fairly sure the rice came out of a pouch. The fries might as well have been potato jerky, they were burned and very tough. The bread was good though and the macaroni was pretty good. As a business owner I understand card fees but 4% is a bit ridiculous. For the price I'm pretty disappointed. I have no problem whatsoever paying for good food... However this just wasn't good food lol
