Our family's is spending our first year in Murphys North Carolina and we checked this place out, it was awesome so we decided to go back. we were not disappointed at all. we intend to eat there again next year. food and service both times was great!

Passing through North carolina and stop in here. Service was alright could use some improvement, we did have to wait a good 10 mins for them to take our order, was not asked if we wanted anything to drink. food was good for me but husband thought it could use more flavor. price’s were very pricey. Environment was a romantic setting. They have an outdoor seating area with music.

Ate on the patio and was sat at a filthy table. After appetizer was delivered, we had to request silverware. Caesar salad was swimming in dressing. Prime rib was basic. What an expensive disappointment for our anniversary dinner!!

Our bread plates were dirty - twice! The menus were covered in greasy handprints too. The server and host were nice and the food was very good, but I have serious concerns around the cleanliness.

We had a lovely evening at the Chophouse. We hadn’t been back in awhile so we didn’t know what to expect. The waygu truffle burgers were perfectly done. Imagine an actual medium rare burger in Murphy! I upgraded to the truffle fries, which were also really good.
Shamil was an amazing waiter. We really enjoyed speaking with him. We’ll ask for him next time.
A perfect evening. We’ll definitely be back.

It's a great place to hear local and national entertainment!
Cuisine was excellent, flavors were perfectly matched in each dish. First time visiting, have seen the establishment with a packed house many of times. Dessert (had the creme brulee) was average, the topping (chared sugar) was or rather had a charcoal taste which is way over done. The dessert was also not warm enough, it still had plenty of flavor. In all the experience was above average and as a sous chef / cook there could be more attention to detail that would make the experience worthwhile and a reason to return more often.

Server Dayton was excellent. My wife loved the Wagu Burger and French Onion Soup. The crab dip appetizer was awesome as well. I had a blackened fish sandwich (added cheese which server remembered but kitchen didn't) and a cup of crab soup which was more like a seafood flavored queso (no crab). All in a great evening and would recommend. We'll return ourselves when back in town.

I went to the place for the first time and from the second I entered I knew it would not be good. The fried seafood platter was frozen and the fried. The ice tea was too sweet and the bread did not have any flavor. Not a fan.
