BEST bbq chicken wings (yellow bottle), smoked brisket in North Carolina! Must try the fried apple pie, OUTSTANDING! Our party of 15 was seated quickly and our server was FANTASTIC!
THANK YOU RIB COUNTRY! We will definitely be back!!! I would give 10 stars if I could!
This quaint little restaurant is definitely the place to stop for good BBQ and excellent service. The beef brisket (lean) and BBQ chicken were delicious. The hand dipped onion rings, fried green tomatoes, ho'made peach cobbler, and ho'made fried apple pie were all to die for. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. Overall an excellent experience. We will be back again in the future!
Don't get there late, they run out of specials and certain side dishes.
Nothing really special, just good, not great, bbq.
Absolutely delicious BBQ, definitely recommend! We were only in Murphy one day and we were so pleased we stopped here. Our waitress was really friendly and the food was amazing. The beans were immense, definitely add those to your order!
Alyssa was nice and helpful, the food was fire and the prices were reasonable. Will be back in the future. Our hostesses, Daphney and Zoey were also super friendly and professional. Can't recommend this place enough. One of the best options in town.
I went to Rib Country in Murphy on Thursday December 12th.. I love many things on their menu but their chicken tenders have always been my favorite, not anymore. I don’t know what they’ve done to their chicken tenders but they were awful. Please change them back to what you had.
A great choice when looking for good

They ruined Rib Country! I've lived here for years. Rib Country is an icon, or was. Every time I return to Murphy, the iconic red neon was there to greet me. Now they have covered the neon signs with strip mall looking cheapo plastic signs? We went in to see what was up. The cute little store area in front which sold all kinds of local goodies from shirts to sauces is gone. The place feels sterile. Our waitress always used to sit at the table with us, have a chat, and get our order. We entered to find the place empty. We were sat in a terrible location. We asked to sit in the main room, which was filled with empty tables. We were moved to a worse location, got a big nasty eye roll from the head waitress on duty, and were told we could not sit at any of those tables. Our waitress did not sit to welcome us, and was unfamiliar with the food. Rib Country was never the best BBQ in Murphy, but the experience of going there always felt like family. Not anymore. Did Rib Country sell to a new owner? Sure seems that way, and the result is very sad. We won't be back.

We stopped by there today around 3:50 after we’ve been driving for three hours just to stop by there on the way to Harrah’s needless to say not one person acknowledged us at all we stood there just looking at one server and it was two ladies at the register who didn’t even say anything to us. I really had my heart set on that bbq when we come by this area and me being disabled walking with a cane I’m was really disappointed that by one person said anything to us. Needless to say not sure when we would or even stop by there again. That was horrible customer service experience.
Went Sunday around 2 PM, was a complete circus. Out of ribs, lmao. How do you run out of ribs when your name is Rib House? Said fine I'll have turkey, out of that too. The waitress fell apart in tears. We told her it's okay, we'll have chicken no problem. We'll 20 minutes after ordering we dropped a $10 bill for our teas and left the three ring circus and went to The Chop House in downtown Murphy. It was excellent and service was great.
