We come every once in a while. If you hit it at the rush there is typically a 30-45 minute wait. But sometimes they get you seated right away. The food is always good. Had no idea about free cookie Tuesday, until yesterday. The free cookie was delicious and warm.

Our bill was a lot higher than we expected it to be, so I’m not sure if we were charged double for something or if the prices were not accurate at all on the menu. But aside from that, we ordered the gas station, the lunch chicken tenders plate, and the lunch brisket plate. The gas station was honestly the only thing worth it. For the brisket plate, we basically just paid for the sides because there was so little meat. The chicken tenders were smaller than my 3 year olds fingers and were so dry they were inedible, it was like chewing on rubber, none of us were able to swallow, we all had to spit it out. After spending so much, two out of three of us are leaving hungry, and most of the food was thrown away.

My grandma and I ordered take out for brisket and pulled pork recently, we were very excited only to get some of the blandest barbecue I've had since moving to NC. The brisket was the worst thing we got, it didn't just taste like unseasoned meat, it tasted like rubber. The pulled pork was better but just barely, and only after drowning it in BBQ sauce. The sides (fries and baked beans) were also very bland and cold.
To be fair I will say that the desserts we got (brownie and peach cobbler) were exceptional and genuinely delicious. If you eat from here, just skip to dessert.
Overall very disappointed since this seems to be very popular, was excited to try it. The desserts were really good though, which is the only reason this isn't one star.

The food was alright but somethings came out colder than they should have been like the fries and some of the meat.

While traveling through the area we stopped at Rib Country for the first time. The restaurant was clean and inviting. The smell of BBQ hits you as soon as you walk in and are greeted by friendly staff.
Our food was delicious and there was plenty of it. You won't leave hungry. For desert some of is got the apple pie, and one got the brownie. I love apple pie, and it was good, but next time, I'm getting the brownie. It was the bomb
Will definitely eat here again when we're in the area.

It is easy to find, typical bbq atmosphere and decor. Prices were decent and online with what we felt was appropriate.
Service was ok, not overly attentive and not big on refills for tea... pleasant though.
Food left a lot to be desired. Dried out brisket and pulled pork was a little well done. Ribs were boiled or oven cooked... no smoke ring and covered with sauce. Not very flavorful. Chicken was decent but again covered in sauce... overall I would probably skip it or go early in the week and day, to avoid heat lamped bbq...

I was in the area and decided to give it a shot. The food was AMAZING and the sauces were the best I’ve had. I had the smoked wings with an amazing buffalo sauce and got the sampler. Let’s say I have enough for two more meals. Jessica was my server and honestly gave me the best service I’ve had in a long time. She wasn’t favoring me, she treated the others that were in her station just as well. Definitely stopping back.

Had the absolute pleasure of spending a few days in Murphy NC last week courtesy of our lovely cousins hosting us at their cabin. We wanted BBQ and they took us to Rib Country. The food was great - we had the onion loaf and ribs. However, the service was the best we’ve ever had! Jessica was our server and she was amazing (and absolutely lovely). So totally recommend for good food and service. Kay, Brisbane, Australia

We stopped in today for lunch while passing by on our way back home. We did encounter a small wait of about 10 minutes, after we got seated our server Courtney was very quick to come up and introduce herself and get our drink orders. Food came out amazing with everything nice, hot and fresh. We ordered BBQ chicken, Ribs and pulled pork everything across the board was great. As we were finishing our meal, Courtney mentioned that it was free cookie Tuesday, How could we say no? what a delight surprise at the end of our meal! The cookies were also outstanding and still warm with gooey chocolate! Thank you for amazing service and an amazing experience for lunch! We will be returning when we’re in the area!
