We drive from Asheville, NC to Murphy for Rib Country. Our food, serifs and experience today was outstanding. Would highly recommend this place to everyone, near and far. I wish we had one back home! We will be back!

Prices and portions were very good. Brisket and mac And cheese was top notch. I like the fact that they offered the brisket to be on the fatty side or not and sliced or chopped. Nice touch. Definitely we'll be back for more

Waited a long time but no one waited on us. I went to see the hostess and complained. Waited some more and still no one came. We finally walked out. The restaurant was not very busy and there was no excuse for this. Obviously a poorly managed business.

I really don't like leaving less than 5 star reviews but Rib Country missed the mark a bit. I LOVE (crave) me some brisket occasionally and I thought, were in NC, let's do this! Well, it was slow service but bbq can't get rushed so, ok. But I saw on the menu that I could order dry-lean, or wet-fatty, meat but the server didn't offer the choice and, we'll rats, those beautiful cuts of meat that showed ip on my plate needed a lot more sawing than I care to admit. The toast was tasty, the fries were good and the coleslaw was very good. However, dry brisket... I kick myself for not asking for the fatties cut.

Service was ok, but food was not. I ordered pulled pork dinner and my husband ordered brisket dinner. After waiting 35 min waitress comes to table to tell me that they pulled the pork out of oven and it did not meet temp requirement. Said was out and asked if I wanted anything else ( no menu offered and first time there). I told her just bring me my sweet potato and baked beans (since unsure of my other options). Food come out about 5-10 min later. The baked beans were like paste, hard, lukewarm and sweet potato was just ok. Husband said brisket was tough and dry. After we are done the waitress brought a plate of pulled pork to table and said, “Oh! The kitchen said they just found this. We were never out. Want me to box it to go?”.After boxing it ( which was only lukewarm not even hot), she brought ticket and we still was charged full price and paid over $45 after. It even getting full meal ordered while eating. Will not be back. Do not recommend.

Food is great, service is pretty good but this locations consistency is spotty at best. What i mean is. My buddy and i ordered the same meal and his portion of brisket was half what i had. When we mentioned it to the staff they agreed but put their hands up and shrugged their shoulders. Never did anything to correct it.

Went there because it was highly recommended, but I was highly disappointed.

I ordered baby back ribs, and they had no flavor aside from the sauce they had on them. The baked beans were the worst I've had (too dry), and the garlic bread was tough as cardboard.

To top it off, the server (older gentleman) was not friendly. He was very short and kept conversation to a minimum and would literally throw the plates on the table when serving.

Giving it a two star because the place is nicely decorated with lots of patriotism.
