They made me a beautiful wedding cake with matching cupcakes & it was the highlight of the night. 🤍

Full disclosure it was 1pm at the time of my visit so my apple fritter was very dry, maybe a few seconds in microwave may have helped? Or getting there first thing in the morning...the young man was attentive but the many empty trays could have been removed from display and cleaned and entry doors cleaned. Not gonna give up , this place has Potential, excellent reviews when it comes to cakes so will try another day

First of all, pink's my favorite color, so I was delighted just entering the bakery. Secondly, we arrived with 15 minutes till close, and we were welcomed like it was opening time. The treats were so appealing, and they were equally as tasty! 10/10 would recommend this spot for a quick little treat while in OBX!

I bought the most spectacular amazing peach pie I have ever had. I should rephrase that and say it’s the best pie I have ever had. Highly Recommend!!!

My best Friends Birthday cake was so beautiful! She told me it was the best carrot cake ever. Thank you for making such a delicious, beautiful cake and delivering it for me! I highly recommend this bakery. They did everything exactly right! They made my Friends Birthday very special. I would give 10 stars if I could.

My beautiful friend ordered a surprise cake for me, for my birthday. I wish I could add a photo to my review because it is gorgeous. My friend told me it was fun talking with the lady she ordered from. The cake is one of the best I’ve had, and I love cake ❤️ Thank you

Our family was in town on vacation and celebrating a birthday. We called ahead from home to order a cake. Our interaction was fantastic from the moment they picked up the phone.
We arrived in the OBX and the next day, we went to the bakery to pick up our cake. I was early so it was not ready. The people inside were not put off or upset because I arrived early. Very politely they asked me if I would not mind waiting while they finished the cake. At one point I was approached and explained that one aspect of our cake was just not coming out correctly (this was piping the shell decorations). They offered another suggestion which was chocolate shaped shells, which I said would work. When they finished decorating the cake they brought it out for me to see, and it was spectacular. Now, when it was time to have the cake later that night, the cake was absolutely delectable. The flavor was on point and it was incredibly moist. For not being familiar with the OBX and taking a chance on a bakery from a Google search, we are so happy we found Almost Heaven Bakery.

I ordered a Key Lime Pie. That was the best Key Line Pie I have ever had!!!! We always vacation in OBX. Definitely will see you next summer!!!

Family bakery, not a lot of variety but what they offer is very good. Great spot for Key Lime pie.

The cakes I ordered from Almost Heaven Bakery were truly heavenly! I’m usually hesitant with larger cakes because they tend to be dry, but these cakes completely surprised me. I ordered a coconut crème cake and a chocolate cake for a birthday celebration. The cakes were incredibly moist, rich in flavor, and had just the right amount of sweetness. Every slice was as good as the first. Easily some of the best cakes I’ve ever had!

The minute you open the door you can smell a bit of heaven! Amazing cookies, cakes, cupcakes, cinnamon rolls, turnovers, and more!

Almost Heaven did a beautiful job on our wedding cake. Appearance, taste, and last minute decor by the owner were all amazing. Thank you for everything!

Delicious cake and treats. Everything came out so nice. Wedding cake and cupcakes were amazing. We ordered cookies, brownies and mini key lime pies as well. Nothing was left behind not even a crumb. Definitely recommend.
