We used Johanna’s to cater my daughter’s wedding in the Outer Banks, and everything was absolutely phenomenal! From the very first tasting earlier in the year, Johanna impressed us with her attention to detail and her ability to understand exactly what the bride and groom were looking for.
For the wedding itself, we had incredible pass-around appetizers, followed by a duet plate featuring locally caught fish and filet, both were cooked to perfection. We also offered a delicious vegetarian option and a kids’ meal, which were both thoughtful additions that made sure everyone felt included and well taken care of. We used Johanna’s bartenders, who were wonderful, and later in the evening, Espresso Martinis were served, which our guests absolutely loved.
With 164 guests in attendance, the food and service were seamless, elegant, and unforgettable. We are still receiving compliments about how amazing the food was! Johanna was such a joy to work with, and her team truly went above and beyond to make the evening perfect.

Johanna's private dinner service was wonderful! We had a party of 9 at a home in OBX and everyone raved about our 5 course dinner. For starters we had crab cakes over corn salad (my favorite) and then the strawberry salad. For mains we had seared mahi over jasmine rice & then the braised short ribs over mashed potatoes. Dessert was a delicious key lime pie tart. The food was delicious and service was super friendly. Thank you so much for such a fun evening!
