I wish I had read other reviews before visiting - I have a gluten allergy and was told it was gluten free. Started eating and was immediately suspicious, went in and asked and after employee checked ingredients was told it contained gluten and could I “pick something else”. She was very nice but if you have any allergy I would not go here

I went here with someone who has an allergy. We made it clear they had an allergy and asked what flavors did not contain gluten. We ordered one we were told did not contain gluten almost immediately upon taking a bite we noticed something that seemed unusual and went in and asked. They do not make their own ice cream so all it took was lifting the container and reading that it contained gluten. The quality wasn’t bad but they should have read the label before making an assumption and serving the customer something they are allergic too, thankfully it is not a deadly allergy.

EXTREMELY UNFRIENDLY and the workers were somehow incompetent at serving icecream. The second we got in there, the owner yells at us to close the door. Then he tells us to hurry because there was a small line outside. We had barely been able to even read the flavors. So we all quickly chose our flavor but his workers kept scooping the wrong flavors and using the wrong cones somehow. They must not half flavor labels on their side for some reason. The owner told us “point to the flavor you want because they’re new”(referring to his workers) and then when we point they still scoop the wrong one. Not sure how you get mint chip confused with Cookie Monster, mint chip literally always looks the same. One person asked for gummies in their icecream and they were given a single gummy. The ice-cream also melted like instantly and was too sweet. He barely filled the cake cone too, I ate the top half of the cone and the bottom half was empty. $15 for an icecream sandwich and half filled cake cone. Not sure how you have employees so incompetent they can’t scoop the correct ice cream flavor and then get mad at your customers. Like we’re literally giving you business, our bad.

We dropped by the shop because it was close to the Airbnb and came back by the next two nights for good reason. The ice cream was awesome! And they have tons of options. Better than the ice cream was the service, though. Rick was there all three nights and was a pleasure to speak with. We may have even left with a piece of his artwork ... Seriously, a great spot.
