Fatboyz used to be one of our favorites for their crab cake sandwiches. We recently visited and learned they are fully ice cream/sweet treats. My guess is it’s been this way for a while since it’s been a long time since we’ve been to OBX but wanted to add a review since Google maps still has the full menu and the description says they have more.
The two ladies (one blonde and one brunette) we interacted with are friendly and fast. I really liked the ice cream we got. Showed a picture to the one employee with brown hair of the cone I was looking for and she recreated it so well! Wait can be a bit long but so so worth it. There is a ramp for wheelchairs and strollers, and a few stairs. Plenty of seating on booth or tables options. They also have connect four games to play. I would recommend you check it out. Not a bad ice cream spot! We showed up at 4pm and walked right up. It's pretty good, somewhat nostalgic to us. I recommend stopping by and trying it if your in the area, of course go with the waffle cone!
