Excellent food!
Most delicious fresh tuna sandwiches ever. Juicy, perfectly cooked and seasoned. We will definitely return. Owners are lovely too.

A little pricy for lunch
Went for a quick lunch with my wife. Ordered the shrimp fried rice and fried grouper sandwich special. Very generous portion of fish. Everything was so fresh and delicious. 2nd best fried rice I've had in my 40+ years. 1st best shrimp fried rice. Can't wait to go back next time we're down for a visit.

Best seafood lunch on the Outer Banks. Friendly folks, solid menu, and exceptionally fresh seafood.
Tuna poke was on point! Ate the first batch of fried shrimp and had to get another.
Perfect spot to eat lunch and then pick up some more to grill later.
We had a great late lunch at Greentail’s! Run like a family style market and small restaurant- they serve while they have the fresh fish available. We had excellent black drum. With potatoes and vegetables the meal was $16.95. Terrific price and service for fresh fish! Highly recommend!
One of my favorite lunch spots on the OBX. Poke is awesome and the specials are always phenomenal. Great spot to buy fresh seafood to cook at home also.

Great place to eat, I've been knowing B for years. Great guy, Great chef. So if you in the vicinity and you want a great meal then check out Greentails. Oh yeah and I never cared too much for okra until I tried his. Lol, again great Chef.

Seafood is always fresh. The poke bowl and crab cakes are amazing. Brian the chef is very accomplished and respected on the Outer Banks. Great place to have lunch.
Grabbed the lunch special as a to-go order today. When I got back to work and sat down to eat I felt like I was eating a gourmet meal! I had no idea what I had been missing out on and now that I do, Greentails will definitely be one of my go to spots!!! WONDERFULLY DELICIOUS....wouldn't change a single thing.
I don’t have any good pictures because we clobbered it all! I’m an ENC seafood snob and this did not disappoint. We tried poke, grouper sandwich, shrimp poboy, blue crab hush puppies, and smoked fish dip. Fast, hot, fresh and delicious! We’ll be back to try Proof Bakery too after the awesome rolls on the sandwiches here.
Couldn’t have asked for a better lunch. Tuna poke was 11/10
You can tell right away it will be great when you walk in. Wonderful smells, excellent cleanliness, fresh fish. Worth it.
