Went over to the pizza shop right beside this place which by the way the pizza is excellent!! Different review though... Heard the barker calling us to the bar to try a beer, usually I am not one at all for craft beers but gave him a shot. I ordered a sample of the kill devil scotch ale and was truly blown away!!! It was unlike any craft beer I have ever had and I am now searching to find where I can buy some for home!!!
Atmosphere was a nice little hole in the wall with a little bar and a good few taps of beer. You can sit inside or take your beer out on the deck to enjoy the beautiful view.
The taste of the beer was fantastic. Had a bit of a strong backing like scotch does but some earthy chocolate notes by me. I would love to try their other beers so I am searching for them online as I write this!!!

Best bar in OBX, probably whole North Carolina. Bartender and guest offer every new guest a literally roaring welcome (watch my video). Super straight people, lots of nice talks, honoring all Armed Forces and veterans AND they offer great beers as well! Become a club member if you like and get your own Stein! Love it!

Ordered a Lost Colony beer while having dinner at Sugar Creek. The beer was so good I made it point to take a closer look at the can. Imagine my surprise when I realized the Lost Colony brewery was pretty much across the street.
Came to the brewery right after dinner. We visited on a Monday, half way through trivia night. My wife enjoyed the Kitty Hawk Blonde while I very much enjoyed the Holy Hand Grenade and the Charon Stout.
The view on the deck was amazing, beer was fantastic, and the atmosphere was awesome. 100% worth the stop.
Lost Colony Waterfront is my favorite bar & pub! Dirt makes everyone feel welcome. There are no strangers at the pub because of the fun, friendly atmosphere he creates. Dirt genuinely cares about everyone who walks in the door & his smile & laugh can turn around even the dreariest of days. I never felt like I had a bar or a pub that was "mine" until Lost Colony. Whether you're celebrating a win in life or just taking a break & relaxing with friends or family it's awesome to spend time there. The water views are spectacular & it offers indoor & outdoor seating so there's always an option no matter the weather. The beer is fantastic. I'm not even typically a "beer" girl but Lost Colony's brews are top notch. My fave is the Hatteras Irish Red but everything I've ever tried there is good. It's also located near a pizza shop and a cafe so there's always something to pair with your beer. You also have to check out the gift shop. Lost Colony's apparel, mugs, and glasses are great. They have the best branding & logos. 5 out of 5 stars all the way!

I like every single beer at this brewery! I can't say that about any other brewery I have been to, and as a resident of the Milwaukee, and Cincinnati areas, I've been exposed to a TON of beer and breweries. The bartender, Dirt is pretty alright too. He's loud, and fun, and pours beers TO THE TOP.
If all that isn't enough, their label art, and corresponding merch is off the chain. They check all the boxes. I love this place!

I don’t even know where to start. This honestly, in my 38 years, my favorite spot to grab a beer. The man slinging beer is a homie and his support for veterans is so genuine. The beer is an explosion of flavor and happiness. Yes. They sell happiness.
