Mahi Mahi's Island Grill

My family and I vacationed in Outer banks this summer. A few friends recommended Mahi Mahi’s for a nice affordable dinner. This place did not disappoint! The seafood was fresh and so delicious and the place was so clean. The restaurant is designed perfect for families or date night. We actually went back without the kids the very next day! This place is A+ rated and a must try for anyone in the area. Can’t wait to go back next summer.

We were so excited to go back there this year after having an incredible meal a year ago. We were there on Saturday night - party of 5 and we would never go back. The food has gone downhill and it was absolutely nothing like what we tasted last year.

We ordered 3 appetizers , drinks and entrees.

We encountered a horrible manager who was completely rude but felt so bad for the server as she was sweet and kind.

I would not recommend this place to anyone and unless management and the kitchen changes, we will not be going back.

Thank you Mahi Mahi’s for treating me and my family great when we came in. Our server the blonde girl was absolutely fantastic and so friendly. She was also the bartender. It felt like a friend was serving us. Very polite. Food was good. Thanks yall!! ?

Awesome service and atmosphere. This is the best restaurant ive been to in OBX where i can go with family and/or friends. It is a very welcoming space and they serve delicious meals for dinner. I would definitely come here again.

Visited this restaurant while on vacation. Food was outstanding, service and servers very pleasant. WE will definitely come back and tell our friends. We give this restaurant 5 stars. .

I had the Mahi Mahi, shrimp and rice. The fish was a very thin cut, over cooked and dry! This being their name sake dish and being seated early this simple dish should have been good, but it wasn't!

The rest of my party was underwhelmed as well. Our recommendation would be "try a different restaurant, there's lots to pick from".

Really has gone downhill since 2023. Fish tacos were not as described, crab cakes tasted burnt and our server brought the check without offering dessert! We will not come back
