Love this place every time I go. Everything always goes good together. You can’t go wrong with a build-your-own restaurant, but this once is my favorite. Good portions for a good price and just generally fresh food.

I loved the original location just a few miles north, and I was excited when this location opened! Five stars easily. Great location with plenty of parking. The inside is comfortable (I suggest having music playing to make it even nicer!) with many tables to sit at. The service is friendly, and the food is delicious. I will definitely be back. Thank you Poke Box team for the yummy food and the happy experience. :)

As a mixed diet couple, one vegetarian and one who loves steak, it can sometimes feel daunting going to smaller towns and finding meals we both enjoy. PokeBox is better than your standard build-a-bowl place. You choose your base, and protein and then are given generous options of sauces and lots of additions. The price cannot be beaten for the portion you get. The regular-sized bowl here is $5 more where I am from. There are many more sauces than any poke place I've been to. If you have specific dietary restrictions, their website clearly labels what is made with eggs and what is vegetarian. The way that the food is packaged makes it a perfect take to the beach for a whole food meal on the go.

We stopped here on our last night in the Outer Banks. We were all very hungry after our climb up Jockey’s Ridge for the sunset. Poke Box hit the spot! The employees were all very patient with all of us (6) when trying to figure out what we wanted. Two bowl sizes are available, the small sizes are very filling! Choose from chicken, seafood, beef, and a ton of great toppings and sauces mixed together and yum! Our choices were delicious! This is a great place and will definitely return here when in Nags Head!
Honestly I eat here once a week! The food is so fresh and wonderful. You can choose your own ingredients! The owners and staff are super friendly and thoughtful. You should definitely eat at the OBX Poke Box!

PokeBox has a wonderful assortment of flavors, toppings and sauces. We’ve gone for lunch twice in two days during our week at Nags Head. Might go again tomorrow. You can build your own Poke bowl: I got white rice with triple chicken (there are cooked protein options for those who aren’t into raw fish) and teriyaki and their house sauce, with corn, cilantro, red onions, ginger, seaweed salad, crispy onion and more. Excellent and healthy.

Well if we’d have visited on our first day of vacation instead of the last, we would likely have been back numerous times! Very tasty. Lots of options, not just raw fish, they had chicken and streak too. Get it as a salad or over rice. You build your own bowl and there are a ton of options. I got spicy tuna and shrimp over brown rice with edamame, cilantro, red onion and mango. Topped with their signature sweet and spicy sauce and spicy crab salad, black sesame seeds, green onion and tempura. It was so good! Note that they are only doing carry out right now and a mask is required inside. I’d go back in a heartbeat!
