Came to the bar for drinks, one Bloody Mary and 2 bottled beer was $20. The bartender gave herself a $20 tip. A 100% tip.

I love locals places. Easy going unassuming with good food and great people watching. We got soup and beers and they fave us water for our dog Char. And cool tshirts for 20 bucks.

Wheelchair accessibility: Excellent ramp. Handicap parking.

Food is not as good as before new owners took over. Breakfast was mediocre and eggs were rubbery.

Great breakfast - told it was a must visit in Nag's Head! Saturday morning mahi mahi fish cakes for breakfast and crab Benedict - what a great way to start the day. Staff was super friendly and it had a real "hometown" atmosphere...eat where the locals eat!!!

Sam & Omie's is a true Outer Banks institution, having been open since 1937. Their food is absolutely fantastic, and the complimentary cornbread is a delightful surprise.
I had the grilled chicken breast, which was cooked to perfection, and my wife enjoyed the calamari and clam chowder. While the clam chowder had a unique flavor profile that differed from what we're used to, it was still quite tasty.
The prices are very reasonable for the quality of food and service. We highly recommend Sam & Omie's to anyone visiting the Outer Banks!

Good food, great service and large portion sizes.

A layback comfortable atmosphere makes eating there stress free.

My favorite is the chicken and biscuits, but it's all good.

A staple in the Outer Banks and a must visit! The staff was friendly and our food was delicious. The crab Benedict was the best I've ever had! The boys loved their sausage biscuits and gravy. There is so much history on the walls, be sure to take time and look at it all.

Don't miss out on this family oriented restaurant! It was refreshing seeing the interactions between staff and patrons, sometimes I wasn't sure who was who! I knew this was an awesome place when "Santa" walked in and a chorus of "Uncle Larry" is here! Food was yummy too!
