It was horrible. I will be contacting the corporate #. The employee at the drive in was rude and had a smart mouth. Had a rough day and was taking it out on the customers. I wish the drive thru orders were recorded. She had cut the lights off outside and we could barely find the place. From out of town, so we had to use GPS bcuz she had turned off the outside lights so no one would go to the outside ordering parking spots. It was only 830ish. I was shocked at how we were treated.

My mother had a stroke today and I took my son to sonic to get dinner and it was the worst experience I’ve ever had. I ordered a drink I was unaware had soda in it, when I asked the girl at the window if there was soda in my drink because I’m diabetic and don’t drink soda, she immediately got rude said a refund would take too long and there was only two people working and refused to fix drink or give a refund then when the other employee came to the window she also very rude and unwilling to address the situation at all I asked for their names so I could speak with a manager and was told no and the window slammed shut. I will never go back to this sonic again.

The staff were friendly and very quick but most of the order screens seem to be broken outside. The payment/credit card slots don't work at the seated area so you have to wait for an employee to come out and take payment.Solid food prepared well, but the owner needs to work in some major repairs.

I wish I could give a zero star. We traveled to Nags Head for a wedding, wanted a chili dog. Lol, well they took our order, then nothing for 15 minutes. So we left, it wasn't even busy. My suggestion, go somewhere else.

When you think of Sonic, you think of pull up speaker box service. That doesn't happen here, only the drive thru is open. No signage telling you that so you pull up to a spot and sit for 10ins for someone to come over the speaker box and state drive thru only. Then you scramble with other cars to enter the drive thru.
The service was AMAZING!!! I'm not sure if other people just come at the wrong time, but my family and I were very impressed, after reading bad reviews on this place. The food was just as good as the service. I would recommend anyone who comes, to at least try this place.

Terrible service terrible atmosphere and okayish food.I've never been to a sonic before but had heard of the drive up order and eat there. Perfect for lunch before leaving town... Unfortunately they refused to take my order and told me to sit in a drive through line.What the hell is the point of the drive up order screens then? I thought the whole point of sonic is that you could park and they'd bring food to your car old-school style.The food was about the same as McDonald's.Guess this explains why I don't see any of these up north, and why all other reviewers are dropping 1-2 stars

Despite there only being 1-2 ladies working each time we went, they prepared our drinks/dessert in a timely manner. I hope they can find people to help out soon to give these ladies a break!
