Great food and fast service. We walked in with 8 people and were seated with in 10 minutes. Definitely recommend this restaurant. Adam was a great waiter.

We have been regulars for more than 25 years. Tonight was our last visit. Server was awful, food was the smallest portions I have ever seen. I was not sure if I was at restaurant or shopping in gift store. It was better when Rufus was there full time. It's in the graveyard.

The restaurant was absolutely amazing, I wish I would of got of servers name but her and the manager were both top tier! Plus the food was great too! The potato skins and caeser salad was wonderful!

My husband and I went there because it was very close to our rented Cottage and the reviews were good. The food was fabulous from the start (hush puppies with honey butter) !! Shrimp with grits were very flavorful along with fried green tomatoes. Atmosphere with local artwork is a great touch. Waiter was very attentive. We will definitely return!! ☆☆☆☆☆

Always a pleasure to have breakfast at the Dunes in Nags Head. Have been enjoying it many years and never disappointed. A dedicated, caring staff, diverse menu and the best Shrimp and Grits on the Outer Banks of NC. Every visit is a special one and pleasant memory. The food, ambiance and crew are second to none.

Food was good, hash browns were "ok", scrapple was on point. Ordered 4 eggs only appeared that I only got 3. Soda syrup mixture was on the strong side, sweet tea was good. Waitress was good for handling a large table.

The Dunes Restaurant was AMAZING! We come every year in September or October when vacationing and have always had a good experience. This year, with nothing but a 10 minute phone call notice, the manager said they could accommodate our party of 14. Our server was Arod and he did an amazing job with the large group that included a toddler and 2 children. The food was amazing, as always. A huge shout out to them…. The manager, our server and the kitchen! It was another great meal and experience!
