The bagel was really good and so was the coffee.

My fiancé lived in DC and we previously considered Bethesda Bagels to be the best bagel breakfast sandwich on the East Coast. Not true anymore; Waveriders quickly took the #1 spot on our list yesterday. The atmosphere is incredible and relaxing, the staff very friendly, the specialty lattes are balanced nicely, the drop brew is great, and the outdoor patio all contribute to making Waveriders an obvious gem and we will be back.

3 for 3 for our visits. All coffees have been great, the breakfast sandwiches are perfect, and the staff/ atmosphere is great. Upbeat environment on one side, a little laid back on the other, and they have a nice outdoor seating area. Nice merch selection as well.

Nastiest breakfast burrito I’ve ever had. Threw it in the trash after one bite.

Got the Bruce’s burrito with bacon.

First off it’s not a burrito. It’s a wrap. Don’t call it a burrito. Call it Bruce’s Red Onion Wrap.

They put old pungent uncooked red onions, uncooked spinach, a freaking cut up HARD BOILED EGG, and the only edible item I paid extra for, bacon, in a wrap and then panini pressed it. Gross. Not a burrito and not good.

I’m beyond baffled how this place shows up as number 1 on yelp for breakfast burritos.

We have been coming to OBX for many years and this is the best coffee!! The mocha lattes were perfectly flavored and caffeinated! They even have some cute mugs and trinkets to bring home! We definitely recommend!

Great coffee, great atmosphere, and delicious breakfast and lunch sandwiches.
Whatever bagels they use for their sandwiches are A+ and they have good gluten free bread too (much better than Udis).
Stopped here on our way off the OBX and it was the perfect way to start our road trip home.

This was a great experience! My iced latte was strong, but sweet and delicious! (Salted Heath bar Mocha) We had bagel sandwiches that were outstanding. Great atmosphere.. just a stellar experience all around.
