Hwy 55 Burgers Shakes & Fries

Called to order for my kids and myself. The phone was answered and I was put on hold immediately. I was literally on hold for 20 mins while listening to 2 servers take orders and send orders out. After 20 mins..they hung up on me. Not happy at all with this experience and I have no plans on returning.

We heard all the hype about the Nashville store's new owner & the massive clean up, so we decided to give it a try. I had to fight flies the entire time; they were even lighting on my ankles! Additionally, the floors were filthy. It appeared they had not been cleaned for quite sometime; the ring of gunk on the floor by the gumball machine was disgusting & I'm not sure when the counter was last scrubbed down.
We love hwy 55 & eat at the Tarboro store frequently, but I'm not sure I'll visit this one again any time soon.

Burger was a little dry. The cook walked out before finishing preparing my second burger. The hostess made a comment like she was annoyed of the customers that were coming in at rush hour. Sorry for being hungry I guess?

Very pleased with the new management. The level of accountability they are putting behind their service, the food, and employees are greatly appreciated. The manager wants to make sure you had a great visit, that you are happy with your food, and he's pretty funny too! The staff are opening the doors for you, greeting you when you walk in with a smile, and making sure you have everything you need with absolute urgency. It was a much needed change in this particular location for many years, and am very glad to be enjoying a great burger and fries from Hwy 55 again!

💥 Shout Out to Hwy 55 in Nashville💥 We went Feb 15, 2025 and it was absolutely perfect 👨‍🍳💋 Chef's Kiss! Teamwork was impeccable! The atmosphere was so energetic and very welcoming! Food was great! This was our first experience at that location and we WILL be back! Way to go guys 🤜🤛

My wife and I went to the highway 55 in Nashville NC for the first time since the new owners took over. The new GM has done an incredible job getting the team to work together to provide amazing food with an incredible attitude. We both got burgers, and they were by far the best burgers around. Lemonade and orangeade made fresh upon order, perfectly fried fries, and the juiciest burger ever. Staff was the most friendly and welcoming I've ever experienced. Glad to say we will definitely have many more trips back.

First time eating there since the grand reopening. New management is fantastic. Food was hot. Nothing was greasy. Well stocked which is something that I couldn’t say before. Price is still very reasonable. Two meals with a dessert under $35. I will be going back regularly now.

My grandson and I went for lunch today and it was the best food I have eaten from Hwy 55 in a long time we will b going back the employees were very friendly ask several times if we needed anything open the door for us I just can't say enough about how it was. Please if u want some excellent food go u will go back again

Order the chicken Steak and fries and drink. The chicken steak was very dry The bread was rubbery and fries over cook and cold. Terrible experience will never. Eat there again.

Went by to pick up dinner today...I called several times and no one would pick up phone so I went in to order. No customers and 4 people who should of been working were just talking and looking at thier phones.
