We went to lake James to swim and enjoy our weekend on the boat. They wouldn’t let us sit in the bar under the fans at a high top table for 6 when we only had 3 people (only 2 tables were occupied in the entire restaurant) no one waiting for a table. Owners sitting right beside us. Company policy they said. unbelievable. we will take out money elsewhere. we are locals. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Just bad business lake was quiet and slow. hardly any boats on the water at 3:45 pm on a Sunday

You can't find too many places that have good service, great prices, really tasty food, plus an outstanding View, but here we are. The restaurant, Bear Creek Marina, served up everything in spades, and I look forward to returning with friends and family.

Have never been to that lake. We had some friends visiting us so we went to check it out. Beautiful spot .
Beautiful view of the lake while you have food and drinks. Excellent outside seating for beautiful days.

We were there when they opened on a Thursday daytrip. Beautiful views and nice relaxing atmosphere. Our food..fried pickles appetizer, grilled shrimp, fried flounder and margaritas was delicious! Service was great too!
