Great night with tasty beer and friendly staff!
We stopped heading home into AVL. The beer was complex, delicious, and so tasty. Very good ipas and fantastic non ipa beers. Really enjoyed the marzen and the sweet potato beers. We grabbed a case. Love the discount on cases. The brewery is beautiful and cozy. The kitchen pumps out delicious pizza with thoughtful flavor combinations and very delicious dough. Dog friendly too! Brendan and James are awesome! Thanks for taking care of weary travelers! We love great beer as ashevillians and this place is top notch!
a slice of urban life, lake james style... what a relief!
Very good, lotta dogs, love a lot.
Great family friendly atmosphere and pretty property. Me and my cousin saw the place from the road and decided to stop by, grabbed a glass of wine and an IPA and tossed a frisbee around for about half an hour. Would definitely come back another time for one of their special events.
Stopped by here after hiking the fonta flora trail with my dog. Had some great beers and the brewery had nice workers. Definitely coming back as it’s a gorgeous location.
Always a pleasant and tasty place on a lazy afternoon or after a hike. Meet your friends. Bring your dog and the kids too.
Visited in Aug. Nice brewery with lots of picnic tables to sit outdoors. They have a food truck on site serves pizza and limited menu. They have nice farm with marigolds, okra, peppers etc...
Mango slushee was very good?
Cute brewery. Nice set up. Great tables for playing card games. Dogs allowed inside and outside. Great selection of alcohol. Pollinator garden was BEAUTIFUL! Lots of yard games to play and to be checked out from the bar.

Great beer and food. Lots of space and parking
I’ve been wanting to try this brewery out for a very long time, but it just doesn’t make sense to make the drive only for this. It’s about 50+ minutes from Asheville. When I was hiking in the area today, it was a perfect time to stop by.
Situated on an old farm, the space is beautiful. It has rolling acres and beautiful wildflowers. Plenty of parking. The indoor space had great music playing, but we opted to sit outside. If you are not under the porch area, which is small, you will be out in the middle of a field, which would be quite hot in the summer. We snagged some nice deck chairs.
I have always loved their beers/other drinks. They have some adventurous flavors and unique options that aren’t too kitschy. it’s like they actually use local ingredients and come up with intelligent combinations. Their marketing/graphics is also incredibly beautiful all the time. But it’s not a beautiful place – it is also amazing quality and taste.
I always love their topsy choices. Today they had a slushy with cucumber mint, but I opted for some thing that I had not had previously. They have some really interesting other beers/barley wines on draft. I had something with the word razz in it and it was delicious. Like everything.
I wanted to take some to go, but unfortunately you have to commit to four of kind. I know, sometimes Whole Foods sells them individually.
Unfortunately, the food truck seems to only operate Thursday through the weekend so we missed it. They do have some chips and ice cream on site if you need a snack. I’d love to see the other locations.
In my opinion, one of the best breweries on the east coast, if not the country. If you're driving down I-40 between Asheville and Hickory, do yourself a favor and swing by (it's super close off interstate). Their sours are unmatched, their commitment to the finest ingredients unparalleled. Not to mention, they have perhaps my favorite beer every (Brine, an mixed culture with the saltiness of oyster shells....just amazing). Matt, their brewer, held 2 cases of it for me as I was passing through town. Seriously...just stop by, grab a pint and few cases for home, you won't regret it.
2024 Edit: they've made some wonderful additions to their space. A beautiful upstairs patio, lots of lawn games, hammocks, and more.
This location is gorgeous. Sweeping lawns with sunflower gardens and plenty of shaded seating. There's a permanent food truck on site and plenty of beers on tap. It's worth the trip!
Only one food truck
