Do not pass this place up. Great spot for breakfast or lunch. The food by Miss Gabby was fantastic- crispy bacon, cooked perfect to my taste. Crispy hash browns. Incredible breakfast. Our server Ashley, was phenomenal. Warm, friendly, professional and made me want to stay and keep talking with her. Highly recommend if you are looking for good home cooking, with generous portions and incredible service.

Good breakfast-stop when I'm out riding. Consistently good Mama's breakfast plate. Lots of food and coffee for under $20. Typically under-staffed, but the team does pretty good. Always friendly!

It was our first time there. On a Friday. Late morning. The portion sizes were large. We had eggs, sausage, bacon,pancake (1) and Philly cheese wrap. Eggs were fine, sausage patty burned, and it wasn't eaten. Philly cheese wrap needed to have grease bloated off with napkins. Server was pleasant. It is unlikely that we would try this place again.

I'll never stop preaching about the entire goodness of the Mom and Pop experience. The food selection was very good and the food itself was incredibly delicious. Prepared excellent and generous portions. The atmosphere was like dining at a family function. The service was over the top with the very beautiful, professional, woman with the best southern accent named Ashley ( hopefully I spelled that correctly). Thank you Gabby for cooking the delicious food. What wonderful people to brighten up your day. French toast sandwich and the liver mush sandwiches done right.

Absolutely a great place to eat. Wonderful cook, Anna, knows what she's doing. Her food is great tasting and very appealing to the eye. The waitress, Jessica, is an excellent waitress, her waitress skills goes above and beyond. You are not forgotten, she checks on you during your meal. I highly recommend this cafe.

Stopped in on our way home to Roxboro from Swannanoa. We missed our turn and glad we did. We had the meat lovers omelets added some mushroom and peppers to it and sat down like we were at "Mama's" house and ate. If you miss your turn, find your way in the area, or just love eating at "your mamas" kitchen type places then stop in and check these ladies out and fill your bellies. Good food and good people.
