Applebee's Grill + Bar

Wait time wasnt bad at all for a big group. Our server was super sweet. But I'm not sure what's happening in the kitchen. Kids food came out probably 15 minutes before the adults. Tow of us order the chicken parrmesan fettuccine, and had to send it back. It was probably the worst chicken I've ever had. Tasted off and had a rubbery texture as if it were fried up days ago, frozen then microwaved. The other food was enjoyed, the kids chicken strips are a majority breading but we're crispy. Not sure if we'd return here but if we did we'd order something different.

This place used to be good. Today they missed the mark by far. We cane in with 3 people. We sat down at 6:20pm. It took us 10 miinutes to get our drink order in. We placed our order for food at 6:40pm at 6:42pm we finally saw our drinks that we ordered. The only drink that came before 6:42pm was a MountainDew no ice that we had to send back because it actuallycame with ice. Our server made the Strawberry Lemonade Sunshine wrong drink twice. Then the drink was actually made with Red Bull that is not stated in the description. At 7:19pm our food came out. I ordered a Prime Rib Dipper meal with extra meat. It was supposed to be pink or less cooked is possible. Instead it came out burnt. My wife ordered an Oriental Chicken Salad. That had not come out until 7:26pm. It actually came with carrot peel still covered in dirt and the lettuce core in the bowl. Her brother ordered the Whole Lotta Bacon Burger cooked pink with nothing but meat and cheese on it. It came out burnt and had all their fruit and vegetable items that come on a burger. We sent the Prime Rib dipper back immediately at around 7:21pm. The Burger back at 7:24pm after speaking to a manager. At 7:32pm the salad was sent back after showing the manager the problems. We were told at 7:26pm the food should be back out in 10 to 15 minutes. At 7:40 both the burger and dipper came out. The burger was black on the bottom. The cheese that came on the burger had actually turned black where it was in contact with the heat source they use to cook. The food was recooked but after being there for over an hour we lost our appetites.

Saturday 8/9/25...Walk in to a half empty restaurant...get told its a 30-45 minute wait....this location has sucked for years...thought we would give it another chance...never again

Came from Belhaven North Carolina used to go to Applebee's in Greenville North Carolina until they're close!! Got the Swiss burger and fries great service very clean bathrooms and great food 10+its Military Friendly 🇱🇷🇱🇷🇱🇷🇱🇷🇱🇷🇱🇷 I love my visit and I shall be back for more!!!

worst chicken fajitas roll-up I've ever had. Was not rolled tightly. Was greasy, wet, just awful. Broccoli was so over cooked that it just fell apart on the fork.
Too many other places in town to eat to come back here again!!

It's been a decade since I last disliked Applebee's. So I figured let's give it a try. Mistake. Couldn't make it past the green soupy dip, a poor excuse for an artichoke spinach dip. It was a half sloppy filled bowl of an imitation cheese sauce. Almost like a can of Campbell's cheese soup. Bits of spinach, one lump of cheese, and maybe a single piece of artichoke. 100% disgusting. We left after the appetizer and likely won't be back for another 2 decades.

Lots of kids lounging...Is this the daycare spot. Ms. Joy was helpful...food could have been better...

We tried the unlimited boneless wings - absolutely horrible!! Cold chicken that tasted like it was frozen, heated and dipped in sauce. We couldn’t eat but three of the 9 pieces bc they were cold. The mozzarella sticks were overcooked and very dry. We mentioned something to our waitress and she did nothing for the bill or anything except to offer a to go drink - spent 45 dollars on really lousy food!

Visiting this location on vacation. We placed orders, with a long wait. The area wasn't overly crowded. When we finally got our order, it was not hot!

Very disappointed in dining experience. Service was slow and server was not friendly at all. Was given plastic silverware for utensils. One in party ordered 12 oz ribeye and was expected to cut steak with a cheap, flimsy plastic knife and eat with plastic fork. When attempted to provide less than 20% tip due to poor service the pay at table machine would not process payment. It should also noted that ceiling in dining area is filthy and windowsills dusty. Area could use cleaning.

Tried the all you can eat special for $15.99
I tried it. They started me with 3 riblets. It took 25 minutes to get my order. Had to get the waitress attention to place a order of shrimp and I got 6 shrimp 25 minutes later. Ordered more riblets and 20 minutes later they brought me 2 riblets and the check. I ordered more riblets and got 2 more 25 minutes later. I got a total of 7 riblets and 6 shrimp in just under 2 hours. Finally got frustrated and paid the bill and left. It's like the staff are instructed to ignore you to make you pay the bill and leave. Wanted to pay the bill on the Applebee's App to earn rewards points and the waitress said we had to use the table pay method or they loose their shifts. This isn't the first time this Applebee's has failed me as a customer. Apparently the manager doesn't care about dine in customers.
