My first visit today was fantastic. The coffee was great, the Belgian waffle I had was great. Employees were friendly and all customers seemed to be having a good time. 10/10 would recommend.

Wonderful atmosphere and awesome food

A must for breakfast in New Bern! Always good. Friendly service. Meat lovers omelette and sweet potato biscuits are a must. I always get a cinnamon bun to go. Huge, soft, and delicious icing.

My friends raved about this place ,so we had to try it. We waited for an hour to get a seat. The food was ok but it wasn't anything great. We had to ask for more coffee. I asked for more packs of sugar and never recieved it.

We have eaten here on several occasions and have always enjoyed the food and service. We dined here for breakfast and was very disappointed. The service was super slow and our server was not friendly at all. The thing that has turned us off from returning is the Upcharges for eggs. They post a sign in the front door and then you don’t know you have been charged more until you pay. The egg prices have decreased so there is no need to charge your customers .50 extra for a flipping egg! A small portioned breakfast should not cost $12 for eggs, bacon and small pancake - it’s not that good! We will not be returning.

2024 Update: I guess we are “regulars” now. Come here at least once or twice a year. Haven’t had a bad experience.

Original: Had breakfast here twice 10/26/19 and again 10/27/19. Very special place! Friendly staff and great vibe. Food is good and there are great choices. I had the Belgium Waffle with pecans and whipped cream on day 1 and the biscuits and gravy the next morning. My only suggestion, just ditch the butter “spread”. I asked for and luckily they had REAL butter, which complements great food so much better. ?
