😔😔Fudge is really good. I was saddened on my visit yesterday because they don’t have fly covers for the fudge or a barrier to keep flies off of the dessert. Staff does not seem concerned or observant of flies sitting on the fudge…For the money you don’t want large blowing flies sitting on your food leaving specks…I was disappointed because after 50 minute drive I didn’t bring back any fudge…The young man that scooped my ice cream had a great demeanor and was very pleasurable to deal with.

Walked the historic downtown and found this cute shop. If you like fudge, this is should be on your list. We bought a sampler of 3 flavors and they were all good. Too cold out to get ice cream, but that just means another trip here in warmer weather.

It is a really cute sweets shop.They have the best fudge with a great variety of flavors. The candies in the case are very good. They have a fun collection of old fashioned candy. Ice cream is very flavorful Everytime we visit New Bern we can't leave without stopping by.

When taking a trip to New Bern, north carolina this is a nice little hideaway to visit. It's not far from the birthplace of Pepsi Cola. It's tucked away down a breezeway. They also serve simply natural ice cream, which is absolutely delicious. The young ladies that were serving us that day were very knowledgeable, and you are served with the friendly face and they smile.
Parking: It is located downtown New Bern, and you will have to park on the street, but depending on the time of day it should be fairly easy to find parking
Kid-friendliness: Yes this place is very kid friendly.
Wheelchair accessibility: A park on the street, but there is accessibility for wheelchairs
We had such a fantastic experience with Bear City Fudge at the Mum Festival in New Bern! The staff was so friendly and helpful. We ended up visiting the shop after going to their booth and I’m so glad we did. The customer service was amazing, and the shop itself is absolutely adorable. The ice cream and fudge were both incredibly delicious! We will definitely be back for more sweet treats.

Frustrated. You'd think, ordering a hot chocolate would be a lovely hot milk with quality melted whole chocolate in this gorgeous little fudge shop. Nope. It's microwaved SwissMiss powder. Shameful.

This is the place to go for fudge, ice cream and other sweets. They have some old school candy as well. Its good to try once every now and then. Downright dangerous to make it a habit of coming here. Overall I thought everything was fantastic. Also has some outdoor seating to enjoy your fudge or ice cream.
Nicest staff, wonderful treats, huge turtles! We got the pink Hyppo watermelon ice cream bar. It’s refreshing and highly recommend! Kiddos loved it here.
