When I saw truffle fries, I was NOT expecting frozen fries with little to no Parmesan or truffles. $30 for steak frites- I am good paying good money for steak. $40-$50 for good steak, but okay steak with frozen French fries…. no. Not impressed.

Was charged $25 for a burger because I wanted it dressed like the beast burger without the exotic animal meat.. I got a regular Angus patty which should have been $17 or $18 but manager refused to charge me any less than $25 for a cheeseburger with garlic aoli, mushrooms, fried onions, and cheese on it. Food was good but won't be going back because I was over charged and the manager was super unreasonable. Manager wouldn't even come out and talk to me and made my poor waiter come back and forth to dispute. Waiter was obviously frustrated by managers actions as well but waiter kept it extremely professional throughout the ordeal. Manager was a definite downfall in this situation.

Very nice place in the heart of New Bern. The burger was awesome and the candy bacon. I tried the Sexy Haze IPA beer and was really nice!! Mikaela service was wonderful.
My burger and my wife’s tacos tasted as though there was absolutely ZERO seasoning. Tacos were supposed to have pineapple salsa on them, but no pineapple could be tasted. Seemed as though they’d used canned pineapple juice, which in turn made the corn tortillas soggy. Very bland food, especially for food prepared in the South. Service was excellent, however, for a $65 meal (including drinks), I expect MUCH better than this. Lastly, the carpeted stairs really need to be cleaned. Was our first and last visit, and we’re locals.
