Great atmosphere and cozy. The decor was a little on the kitschy side, but overall I enjoyed. I only ordered an iced americano here, but the food menu looked great! My americano was delicious. A pleasant find while visiting town!

Very cute cafe in beautiful downtown New Bern, the staff were very friendly and helpful but the service was extremely slow, the kitchen forgot about one of the orders in my party. The hummus wrap was delicious, I will go back for the wrap hopefully next time I won't have to wait so long.

Stopped in for a quick bite and was pleasantry surprised at the food selection as well as coffee and some sweets. The chicken sandwich I had was amazing....it was a breaded fried filet with lettuce and tomato and tasted amazing. They also have breakfast sandwiches too...Kid-friendliness: Sweets for kids and adultsWheelchair accessibility: No steps

This is a very nice place. A large cafe that has any and everything you could want for breakfast and lunch, and all different teas and coffees possible. My order was a boring plan bagel with cream cheese and plan coffee, but they make their own pastries, and wow, the Boston cream filled donut was out of this world !!!!!. You need a bib to eat one

Thank you, Hannah, for immediately screening my service dog and asking one of two questions allowed by ADA. Businesses don't screen anymore, and it is hard to find safe places to go. As a business, you will find that if you ask both questions allowed by ADA that real service dog owners expect it and have no problems answering them. I will be back because of you, Hannah! I will recommend this place! You made a veteran and her service dog very happy!

Since Bella’s menu is clearly for decoration only, let me help you avoid the headache by sharing the story of what I *tried* to order today.I asked for the pick 2 from the menu, half a sandwich and cup of soup. The barista responded that she couldn’t do that, and when I pointed to the menu and asked why she responded “oh, it’s wrong. It says soup but you can only pick 2 between salad and sandwich”.So I said ok, let me order a cup of soup and a pimento cheese sandwich. The soup rang up $6.50 so I stopped her and asked “$6.50, for a CUP of soup??” (The menu displays “Soup of the day - cup or bowl”) and she again explains that the menu is wrong, it’s one size for $6.50.***This is not an issue with the barista. This is an issue with management over a year old that Bella’s has not had a correct menu. No prices posted and you have no idea what your bill is until the ticket gets printed, they up charge everything (they wouldn’t swap ham for turkey for me previously without charging for extra meat, despite the fact that I can’t eat pork and wasn’t asking for extra of anything) and now apparently they won’t sell combos or sizes of things that they advertise. $6.50 for soup, $9.50 for PIMENTO CHEESE (plain!) $6 for a coffee… it’s nearly $25 for one person to eat at a mediocre cafe who’s only boast is it’s location.Drive the 3 min to Crema or Pinnix for a MUCH better experience and service. That was my last try at Bella’s.

No prices for any items, order at register then find out the cost. Ordered soup and a BLT which had one thin piece of lettuce and a small thin tomato and hardly any bacon, on regular store bread. Oh and the price, 9.20! I left still hungry and am a small woman. People working did not smile, probably the least engaged with their customers that I have ever witnessed. They acted horrible and mad to be there. Nice decor but such a downer of a restaurant. Nee to have some training as to how to treat customers and run a restaurant. Conclusion, very poor service and overpriced, small portioned food with no way to get a price before you order, wow

My Husband and I ended up discovering this cute little cafe this morning. My husband ordered a plain bagel with egg, sausage and cheese. I ordered a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich on ciabatta bread. We both ordered a Cafe Mocha coffee with almond milk and a splash of Caramel. The coffee was delicious. I just wish the sandwich had either mayo on it when they toasted the bread or that they would have put an aïoli on it to give it a little extra flavor. Other than that the sandwich was good.
