As a native New Yorker I am exceptionally picky about pizza. This is the closest to NYC pizza that I have tasted since living in North Carolina! Thin foldable crust with just the right amount of sauce and cheese. It is now the only acceptable place for me to get a slice!

Love love love Sara's! The food is pretty good, the service is friendly and the servers are quick to remember your faces. Sometimes service can be a little slow, but they definitely stay busy!

The pizza was good but the service was not so good. Advice to the waitress... Remember a table of two can leave you a very very good tip just as good as the big table you were serving in the back.

The pizza and cheese fries were great! The establishment was crowded as they were somewhat busy. However, as we were seated it was 20 mins before our order was taken. It took almost 40 mins to get cheese fries and the pizza came 30 mins after that. We watched our waitress and another sit, serve and clear 5 other tables and sit more patrons and serve them in the same room as us all the whole waiting on cheese fries and a pizza. The waitress checked on us a total of 5 times while we were there.... Take our order, bring fries, refill drinks when we stopped her, bring pizza and get the check. Not the friendliest of staff and certainly won't be recommending.

I cook Italian food quite regularly I am immensely picky, but I have to say I was very impressed the sauce . But there was a variety of Italian dishes that were most enjoyable. I highly recommend it.
Ordered carry out. It was ready promptly and so delicious!

Waited almost a full hour for chicken Alfredo, and the food comes out cold. Server barely spoke to me, took 10ish minutes to get me a second beer, offered to reheat the chicken Alfredo but I don't understand how it can come out cold unless they let it sit for a while.

I have eating at Sara's since she opened. He menu is one of the largest if not the largest menu in
New Bern. everything I have ever eaten at Sara's is delicious. The meatballs are large and delicious, and I love the marinara sauce. Service is always good with a smile. and I don't know of another restaurant that earned 100% from the NC Health Department.
