Hope they fired that Arista girl, she doesn’t belong in such a great environment.

Fantastic little bistro. I was the only diner in the restaurant so was able to chat with the owner and cook. Both were nice people. Had the fully loaded breakfast burrito and boy was it loaded/tasty. Definitely going to go back to try the homemade pasta. If visiting, Google will take you the wrong side of the development. They are nestled in the middle, not on the extreme end like Google thinks

I wish I'd taken photos, but I didn't think to. This morning a party of 4 of us had breakfast at Bistro by the Bern . We all loved the old-time diner vibe of the place, and the owner was very sweet and helpful. We each had the 2 egg breakfast plate, and it was so much food! My own was 2 eggs, 2 slices of toast, 2 strips of bacon, and a huge serving of the best home fries I've ever had. The home fries were so crispy and brown outside and fluffy inside. Prices were reasonable, and it wasn't crowded. We WILL be back!

The owner was so nice and accommodating. While they didn’t have an official kids menu, she was flexible with the kiddos and worked out their orders to fit our needs. The food was great! The atmosphere was also very nice, but you could get a bit of a feel for the newness of the place. Nothing bad at all, but in a “more to come and nothing but opportunities ahead” kind of way.Looking forward to coming back and trying the Shrimp and Grits when we are in town again.

We did an early moring Brakefast with the girls. They had a great spread of 3 different types of French toast. Apple cinnamon, banana foster and regular. All wear delicious. We had the place to our selfish and got a one on one with the owner. She is a wonderful lady and look forward to seeing her again.

Went here for brunch. I got the French toast platter which came with 6 pieces of French toast, 2 slices of bacon, and homefries. All very delicious. My particular favorite were the homefries, the best I have had in years! I always thought the homefries at Baker's Kitchen were the best, but these have those beat. Md perfectly. My husband got the western omelet and said it was cooked perfectly. Everything tasted very fresh and the servings were plentiful.

Bistro by the Bern is excellent! Pam, the owner is very nice and personable. The food is all made in house and you can definitely tell by how fresh everything tasted. The soup of the day was wonderful as was the shrimp and grits. Jeremy, the chef also bakes all of their desserts. I had the carrot cake and I can honestly say it is probably the best I've ever tasted. They are currently only open for breakfast and lunch but hopefully soon they will extend their hours to include dinner and wine/beer!

I am 100% plant-based. There are several very tasty filling meals on this menu. I had the oyster mushroom tacos and wow, so delicious. I hope they eventually add some vegan desserts to their menu. The atmosphere is mega bright in the main room and too dark in the other room. The place has an echo and can be a bit noisy. Good place for lunch otherwise I am happy I can find a few decent vegan meals in town.

The food was very good with homemade potato chips. The drinks are 16 oz bottles and you will be charged $3.15 per bottle. There is no pricing for the drinks kisted!

This is not a restaurant. It is a cafeteria. You can tell by the deco and set up they are certainly fighting in house to figure out their identity. If the young man is by himself cooking you will expect him to cut corners. Music they were blaring was painful to listen to. It was like reggae but the person singing sucked big time. Cashiers both went to the bathroom twice while we ate. The food is expensive and not tasty at all. We got the cheesecake slice. Small itty bitty cheesecake for $6!!! What the bistro crap is thaaaat! Their omlete and steak is tiny for its 22 dollar price and forget about ordering their banana foster. Gross. Reheated. Hard syrup on soggy toast. Nope. Neva again. Someone needa rescue this place quick.

I had breakfast after the change of owners. Really nothing to brag about. Pretty run of the mill blah. If you can't get into Carolina Bagel this is your nearby fallback.

My wife and I went here for the first time. I had the roast beef sandwich and she had the grilled chicken sandwich. Food was delicious and service was very good. The home made chips are also very good. Will come back for sure.
